How would you describe Winball?

First of all, thank the Padel League Brand that has chosen us as the Official Ball. That said, we are a company that is knowing how to merge the sport of paddle tennis and advertising profitability since customization allows a brand, company or individual to invest money in paddle tennis and have a return on said investment. Similarly, the clubs, thanks to personalization, are doing 'Branding,' enhancing their image and improving their income with the sale of personalized quality products.

How were the beginnings of Winball?

Three years ago the idea of ​​offering something different in the world of paddle was born ... And what if we are doing it! There is almost no high quality product left that we can not customize. Our beginnings were with the personalized balls but, at present, we have more than 10 products that are offered to clubs, brands, companies and individuals. We talk about overgrips, palettes, socks, protectors, microfiber towels etc.

What were the main challenges when considering making a ball 'made in Spain'?

First of all, the quality of the materials, the fast delivery service (in less than 6 business days) and, of course, competitive prices like the rest of the companies in the sector.

What differentiates them from big international brands like Dunlop, Head, etc?

The total customization. Every day there are more professional companies in the sector that do not go to the Asian market and work with us, saving in investment, in scares and not having large stocks in their warehouses. At the same time, many entrepreneurial brands have the possibility of having all the customized padel products without minimum purchase, with a high quality and with prices adapted to their companies. For clubs, it is an increasingly used service because it supposes a source of extra income: they can offer their sponsors the possibility of putting the logo on the balls of the club, on the overgrips, paletters, protectors, nets, socks, vinyls on the tracks etc. In short, new sources of income that other brands can not offer. We are focused on both professional clients and private clients and companies outside the padel sector. Our products are consumed by hundreds of clubs and thousands of companies and individuals who, every day, play padel, being different from the rest because they wear their own brands or logos of their companies. Every day more people use their personalized products and, since they cost the same as those of other brands, they prefer to be different.

What is the average time since receiving an order from say 200 cans (600 balls) until it is delivered to the destination?

Either for a professional order or for an order from individuals, it is normal in less than five days. There are cases that in less than 48 hours our customer has received their personalized order. Sometimes, stock control or the entry of a new sponsor for the club or tournament generates quick orders. Something similar happens on birthdays or with other special gifts from individuals.

What is the hardest thing to achieve when you are engaged in a business like yours?

Make customers understand that everything can be customized and, above all, that it is almost cheaper than buying it from other brands in the market. Everyone thinks that it is very expensive and that you have to buy large quantities. It is not like this. There is no minimum order and the price is the same as what you are buying at your club or store.

What is the mission of each partner and what previous experience did they have in this type of business?

We are three partners and we come from the world of paddle. The management of a 10 club owned tracks as well as a padel track construction and maintenance company for 10 years ago. The tasks are divided into production management, quality control and sales area.

How many types of balls do they have and how do they differ?

For now we have two qualities. On the one hand, there is 'Winball Pro', a high-end ball with an ideal bounce and a duration in time that surprises everyone. It is the ball that almost all brands buy and that is ideal for tournaments and for sale to the public. At the same time, we have the 'Winball Club', which is a little less plush, with extraordinary pressure, bounce and duration focused on clubs and monitors. Does not get wet in winter and saves a lot of money for its duration

What customers, what can be said, are manufactured?

There are already more than 50 professional brands and more than 80 new entrepreneurial brands. We do not like to say names, but it is very easy to see them by many tournaments and clubs every day. One brand, for example, is 'Black Crow', with Jordi at the helm, and with players of the prestige of Tito Allemandi. Review that, for the third consecutive year, we will also be the Official Ball of the National League BMW Gran Padel Tour.

What is your daily production capacity?

Every day you could get more than 75 boxes of balls, more than 1.400 custom overgrips, 75 palletiers with the images or logos desired by the customer, socks, custom nets, blade protectors etc.

What is true that soon they will present a line of clothing products and customized shovels?

Well, we try not to stop and with a view to the end of this year 2015, maybe we will have another surprise. Just say that surely we will not go barefoot ...
