What are the sensations after the triumph in the Spanish Championship?

It is a pride to repeat the title. I think it's a very special test because everybody likes to play the tournament par excellence of their country.

What has been the evolution of this Championship since you play it?

Well, contacts with the Spanish Federation are continuous. It is improving little by little but I think there is still a long way to go. I will try to collaborate in whatever I can and try to contribute my bit.

What memories does your previous participation bring you, now with the title?

Well, I'll tell you that since I was a kid, when I saw Lahoz, Semprún and other players raise the title, I dreamed I could do it one day. Now I look back and review the previous tournaments of Spain that I have played and the evolution that has taken place. I feel good because getting here has not been a path of roses.

Does the title have something special for you?

Of course. It sounds good, right? Spain champion. It is a title that will always be there and from which I will be able to show off to my grandchildren ...

Could you remember your time in this and the previous Spanish Championships?

Of course. I remember all or almost all the games played in this event. That's where I see my evolution as a player.

Was there any difficulty in obtaining this title?

Where things complicated us the most was in the final. We were going to break down and in the end we had to decide for the tie break. Leones and Ernesto played a great paddle and made us suffer so much.
