In a meteoric rise, he soon reached the fourth place in the Ranking of his country, which served to be one of the members of the national team that defended Portugal in the last World Cup. Pre-Preview WPT Player, one of his role models is Sanyo Gutiérrez.

About to turn 40, and with four children, he is known as the 'pai' (father) of this sport in his country, something that fills him with pride. Despite his age, he always affirms that he has a long way to go and, because of his way of being, he knows that the impossible do not exist ... What else could be said about a person who has two paddle clubs, is about to open the third and organizes the Challenger WPT in Lisbon?
