Padel World Press .- It's your 'big event' of the season. La Calzada wears his best clothes to host one of the main parties of the Spanish paddle and, to get everything to go perfectly, Luis Sicilia has prepared with great care what he considers as something more than a simple tournament.

In conjunction with his team and with the top managers of the Canarian Federation, the club manager wants to fulfill his 'responsibility' to make both players and the public feel at home.

As Luis Sicilia acknowledged in the interview given to the FEP, the organization of a meeting of this magnitude made them have to dedicate several months to their preparations: "And you can not leave anything to chance. Our club has an incomparable setting to be next to the ravine of Guiniguada, with a palm tree in front of it that makes it out of the ordinary of urban clubs. The 18 outdoor courts, its 11.000 square meters with ample parking, cafeteria, terrace and a very familiar and cozy atmosphere make our clients forget their day to day work and enjoy outdoor sports.

Fortunately for them, foreign aid was not lacking when organizing this test. In that sense, he pointed out that without the support and facilities of public bodies such as Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Insular Institute of Sports, the Municipal Institute of Sports of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, Tourism of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Government of the Canary Islands and the Canarian Paddle Federation: "This competition would not have been possible."

How could it be otherwise, Aday Santana It will be the figure that will focus all the eyes of the local fans. Old acquaintances, Luis Sicilia wanted to highlight the great quality both on and off the court of the player: “Aday is a super class, a very close person, always ready to sign autographs and photos when asked. Above we are lucky that this year from the hand of the Canarian Federation directs a Technification Course for the Minors of the Canary Islands. A luxury for us that he is a Canarian and takes the Canaries all over the world ».

Finally, he assured that for Club La Calzada this tournament: “It is what the Champions League is to football. We want all paddle tennis lovers to come to our facilities to see the level of Spanish players. We are very confident that everything will develop wonderfully because we have a splendid human team and, with the help of the Canarian Federation, everything will be luxurious ”.
