They completed an extraordinary 2015, in which they confirmed that they are two of the most promising young talents of the national padel. The people of Malaga prepare to live their first full season 'among the elderly' and face their new challenges with great enthusiasm. Do not miss this great interview made by colleagues from The Opinion of Málaga.

Padel World Press .- They are two of the new promises that emerged from a land that has given great players to the world of padel, such as Carolina Navarro, Álex Ruiz and Ernesto Moreno among many others.

With 18 and 19 years respectively, José Carlos Gaspar and Momo González managed to close last season conquering the Junior World Championship in Junior Category and signed some very outstanding performances in their first experiences in the Pre-Previews of some tournaments of the World Paddle Tour Tour.

As they pointed out in the interview given to Manuel García, a journalist from The Opinion of Málaga, facing this season, they set themselves the challenge of entering a Main Draw of the Professional Circuit for the first time. José Carlos himself highlighted: “Our goal this year is to start entering the World Paddle Tour Teams. The first tournament begins on March 27, in Gijón. From the Previews ... to as far as we can go to get into the frame ”.

Those who know them, know that the 'chemistry' and complicity that both have both inside and outside the courts is essential to explain their sporting success ... And this year will be even more important as they can not train together ... José Carlos studies in Madrid while Momo does it at the University of Málaga: "We do not usually train together. Already in summer we have the opportunity again. We blend very well on the track so there is no problem, "said José Carlos, to which Momo replied:" We know each other a lot and for the paddle it is not necessary to train together. With what we know on and off the track, I think it's worth it. I do not miss him very much. "

Brilliant and very complementary, Gaspar's defensive strength allows his teammate to have a better chance of bringing out his great shot: “Momo is very explosive, he defines a lot on the court. As a person he is a very nice and cheerful guy. Also with his defects, he is helped in what he can… (laughs) ”. Right afterwards, Momo asserted: “José Carlos defends very well on the court and not a single one fails. I'm in charge of winning them (laughs). Afterwards, as a person, you just have to see him… He is very good people and we get along very well off the track as well. He is my partner and my friend ”.

And that is his secret. What are more than just companions, who share the same passion in common and who have the talent and determination to fight to become two of the names of the future and, why not, of the present of this wonderful sport.
