A new installment of the Diary arrives that the young player of the Black Crown Team shares with the readers of Padel World Press. On this occasion, the man from Malaga recounts how he went through the last two tournaments of the Paddle World Tour.

Padel World Press .- Once again, I sit down at the computer to tell you how my season is going… We are already at the end of July and I am in Malaga, my city. The truth is that I have realized that it is true that they say you do not value things until you have them… I totally agree. I love being here.

Regardless of that, during this last month we played two WPT. The first was the WPT of Mijas, which Momo and I arrived with great enthusiasm. After winning two tough matches, Pincho Fernández and Lucas Bergamini totally overrode us. In that sense, I would have to say that our rivals played a lot and I, really, was not up to the task. I could not stand the game well and we did not know how to change the strategy but, well, they did a great tournament afterwards, so we have to congratulate them.

Right then we travel to the other side of Spain to play the Cabrera de Mar Challenger. Not having the 16 top finishers in the Ranking makes things a bit easier and we manage to enter the Draw. We were very excited and playing better and better but we were not able to defeat Maty Marina-Javier Concepción. Although at first that may seem normal, the truth is that on the court we had the feeling that we could have achieved victory.

We want to give surprises, so we are very focused here in Malaga, training a lot ... I do not know if it will be in Gran Canaria, where we debuted on Sunday July 23, but what I am sure of is that if we continue working as we have done now we can go a long way towards the second part of the season.

A greeting!

José Carlos Gaspar
