The CEO of the brand of the star was one of the guests from the field', program broadcast by our colleagues at Capital Radio. Do not miss this interesting interview, which helped us to get to know more closely one of the most prestigious companies in the world of paddle.

Padel World Press .- They have not stopped growing in recent years. Step by step, and thanks to the fact of having their own factory, they have managed to consolidate StarVie as one of the reference companies when talking about this wonderful sport.

With a great team of professionals in all its areas, as Jorge Gómez de la Vega himself pointed out, the brand can boast of having maintained an upward line despite the increasing competition in the sector: “We are in a market that continues to go up despite the crisis. More and more blades are sold, there are more and more clubs, more and more people play ... Then they have other problems but hey, we think we have achieved an important position ”.

When talking about the philosophy and 'master lines' of the firm, he said: “StarVie has started a global padel project. Although the most important part is the manufacture and sale of blades, we have other accessories and a textile line… We also started a line of clubs and events. We have a club in Collado Mediano, in the factory we have a mini-club with 2 courts and well, in principle we are open to seeing new club business ”.

Very well represented in the Professional Circuit due to its large list of players, she highlighted: “We believe that the sponsorship of players is a strategic line of marketing, like many others. Thanks to the World Paddle Tour, paddle tennis is being seen on television, something that did not exist until very recently ... That is why players are a way of making you see yourself ”.

Proud of the work done in his factory, Jorge Gómez de la Vega explained: "We make the 100% of our production and our processes in the Azuqueca de Henares factory. In our case, making a paddle is very handcrafted. They are done one by one and, so that the fans can get an idea, since the materials are prepared and molded until the plastic is put on and they are weighed to send to the store they spend 11 days ".

What makes them different as a brand? In that sense, it is very clear that: "It is difficult to compete on price with the product of China, Pakistan or Morocco. It is impossible. The cost of labor can be three or four times lower. What we are trying to do is overcome these products in quality and innovation. We send the factory's Chief Engineer to all the fairs on fibers, materials and technological advances and he gives us a series of innovations every year. This year, for example, we have introduced the fiber of Basalt, Texalium, etc. "
