It is one of the proper names in the history of this sport. He has lived his evolution since the padel took the first steps in our country and, therefore, had a very close relationship with Eduardo Góngora. In this letter, a gentleman pays his respects to the one who will always be 'his President'.

Padel World Press .- Yesterday I got up in the morning and soon after I received a call telling me the sad news of the death of Eduardo Góngora. In addition to the sadness that it represented for me, began to flow a series of memories of my padelística time, in which I shared many fantastic moments with Eduardo. Trips, lunches and dinners in different cities, laughter, meetings where we debated anything in the world of paddle. Anyway, my President whenever we needed him, there he was.

Tireless worker who left the soul in getting this wonderful sport is now what it is. He got the Higher Council of Sports to grant him the category of Federation and I know that it was not easy at all. And he did everything because he loved the sport and he showed it all his life.

I think that we, both those of us who are still involved in this world of padel and those who simply practice it, owe a lot to Eduardo. I can assure you that a sport like this would not have reached where it is now if we had not counted on such wonderful people as Eduardo, my President.

I am sorry for his loss although I am sure he is where he is (and good people already know where), he will continue helping us to get his work where we all want: Olympic sport and practiced all over the world. Surely with your help we will get it, Presi.

My deepest sympathy and a big hug to the whole family.

Javier Arenzana.
