Almost two weeks have passed since the dispute of the first tournament in the history of the World Paddle Tour Circuit in the Principality of Monaco. With time to calmly analyze everything we have experienced during a historic week for our sport, we wanted to talk with Fabrice Pastor, with whom we have shared how it was a week in which he achieved one of his dreams: to organize a professional paddle tournament in his country.

Padel World Press .- It is one of the names that has emerged with more force in the world of paddle in recent years. Great entrepreneur and lover of this discipline, Fabrice Pastor took on the challenge of 'using' his position to help as much as possible to the international development of this wonderful sport ... And little by little he is getting it !!

Projects in South America, sponsorship of professional players, the organization of a WPT circuit test in Monegasque lands, the challenge of setting up a club and a reference school in the Principality ... There are many fronts opened by Monte-Carlo International Sports, a company that already begins to become a reference in the world of paddle.

Very satisfied with everything he experienced during the Monte-Carlo Padel Master dispute, Fabrice Pastor told us what he would do: "A very positive balance, both for the success of the organization and for the good reception of the players, the public and the press. It has been a frantic day to ensure that everyone felt at ease and that everything went perfectly. I've been in a cloud, living a dream: to organize a tournament in my country. "

With effort, dedication and care in the details, both he and his team managed to make the players feel like they had never done before: "They were delighted to play in Monaco and to know that events like this contribute to the development of paddle in the world. I also think that they have felt very well treated. We wanted to pamper them and I think we have achieved it. We are sure they will return !!

It is true that padel is not yet a well-known sport in the Principality of Monaco but, despite this, the World Paddle Tour Circuit test generated a lot of expectation: "The audience was surprised by the assembly, which was really spectacular, not only for the environment but also for how well our team and the World Padel Tour team have worked. The public was very attracted to this sport. I think they found it more fun and easier to practice than they expected and, for that reason, I am optimistic and I think that many will be encouraged and will begin to practice it. "

Reflective and analytical, Fabrice Pastor knows that now it will be time to review everything he has experienced, detect 'failures' and try to improve for future editions: "It is still a little early. Surely there are small details to improve but, in general, I think everything went perfectly. "

Albert II of Monaco's visit contributed to that 'perfection': "The visit of Monsignor was an honor for us. He was returning from a long trip and made the effort to come to the tournament because he wanted to show us his support. For us it was fundamental because it gave him a plus of approval and promotion to the tournament. "

In an unforgettable week, there were many moments and anecdotes that he will keep forever in his memory: "The visit of SAS Prince Albert, having played in the final of the Previews in the Chapiteau, the contact with the players and friends, gathering players amateurs known to the public and who are the ambassadors of paddle in their countries (such as Thomas Johansson or Didier Deschamps). I dont know; I lived so many unforgettable moments ... "

A question was a must: What do you expect from the future of this sport in Monaco? His response was very concise: "I hope the paddle becomes a sport that is played regularly, as it happens in Spain ... I also hope that it is practiced by young and old".

Leading a company always ready to face great challenges, he revealed that the next actions to be carried out by Monte-Carlo International Sports will be: "To begin, we are already working on the second edition of the Monte-Carlo Padel Master 2016, which will also have Female frame. But we also develop events around the world. On February of 2015 we organized the Fabrice Pastor Cup in Argentina and, in 2016, we will also organize this tournament in Chile and Brazil. The winners of each event will receive as a prize the opportunity to participate in the previous World Padel Tour with all the expenses paid by our company. We have also made the Argentine Women's Padel Circuit and, only in 2015, we will have organized 20 tournaments. Finally, we are planning to set up a paddle club and a school in Monaco ... I hope that everything is underway at 2016. So, how do you see, we have a lot of work ahead of us. "

Finally, he wanted to send a message to the fans: "My thanks for having supported us in the organization of this event. I know that there are many who have not been able to come to Monaco and that is one of the issues we have to try to improve in future editions: to facilitate the arrival of fans from all over. And encourage them to capture new fans. The more we are, the easier everything will be! "
