Padel World Press .- When we start with a new couple we believe and we want everything to be rosy. But this is not the case, because when we choose a new partner we idealize it and, in reality, we do not know and we do not know its day to day.
Their habits, their habits, their ways of facing the trainings, the problems, their dedication and many other factors that make the good functioning of a pair of paddle. It is not enough just to play well.
There is an invisible day-to-day work that is very important. Especially communication.
Good and clear communication facilitates the proper functioning of the couple ... This does not mean that it will be easy but it does mean that common goals will be sought.
Something fundamental before forming a couple, from my point of view, is to have a previous and sincere talk with objectives and ways of working, so that in the middle of the process there are no unforeseen events.
Once the couple is formed, thousands of problems will arise… But there will be the true union, that of wanting to work, improve and, above all, fight together to be able to overcome problems and evolve.
What we liked at the beginning of the new couple, with bad results, seems horrible to us.
Let's start with the male separations: that of the Seba Nerone - Fede Quiles couple. The bad results or, perhaps, the results not obtained, advanced a project that perhaps did not start with all the firmness that it should. There was also the goodbye of Gonzalo Rubio-Javier Ruíz, Champions of Spain and with good results in the WPT… It may be that this was caused by the breakdown of another pair, that of Álex Ruiz-Matías Marina.
Perhaps it was expected a lot from Álex Ruiz and Matías Marina and when the results did not arrive, both decided to look for other horizons. In the separation of these three couples we can place the title of bad project or little patience.
In women, surprised the separation of Marta Ortega-Alba Galán, a duo that was postulated to give fight to the main couples and, above all, a project for the future.
From my humble opinion and experience, it is very difficult to find a partner who is a travel companion that suits all of our needs. Perhaps the time has come to professionalize this more and know how to manage the relationship more in a work way. We can take as an example the people who work in an office ... When they hire you for a job, they do not present you to your colleagues to see if they fit you and there you make a decision.
Perhaps we players lack that mental and maturity work to be able to better manage this work situation ... Let's not forget that it is a sport, but it is our job.
Also in girls the couple Nela Brito-Lorena Alonso decided to separate, maybe they needed a bit of new airs.
I wish all the new couples that they can start the rest of the season the way they expect it.
