Do not miss the fifth installment of the interviews with which, from the FEP, we continue to approach many of the great promises of paddle. All of them, and within just a few days, will fight for the conquest of the Spanish Championship for Minors. On this occasion, it is the turn of the young and promising Madrilenian player.

Padel World Press .- There are only a few days left ... Every time there is less and less for the start of one of the most special tests of each season in the Calendar of the Spanish Federation ... And it is that the City of the Racket will host, from September 02 to 06, all Firm promises of the national paddle, which continue with their respective intensive training plans to face this event with the maximum possible guarantees.

From the FEP, they have spoken with Carla Pozuelo, current 35 number of the Ranking in Children's Category who, in 2014, achieved the Alevín Category title with Carolina Galaz Sánchez.

How do you see this year the possibility of renewing the title obtained in 2014?

Winning the title this year is complicated. I am a freshman and, in principle, second-year players have more options. However, I will give everything to try, that there is nothing impossible and the differences in the game are getting shorter. By not starting as a seed, the draw will be essential to move forward in the box.

What memories do you have of the 2014 final that confronted you with Martínez-Saiz?

The first thing that comes to mind is the feeling of great joy and excitement that Carolina and I had. The match was highly contested and this made the joy at the end even greater. I also remember the great support received, because being in Madrid many people came to see us and cheer us on. I remember that they were all there: the Madrid Federation, Ondapadel (my club), Adidas (my sponsor), my family, my friends,… All giving encouragement and, in the end, I remember that everything was kisses and hugs.

What preparation do you face for this Spanish Championship?

Being on vacation in August, I will do the preparation in two stages: first I will do a two-week intensive in a Castellón club (hour and a half daily) and, once in Madrid, I will play the Racket tournament prior to the Championship from Spain. Then I will train in Ondapadel with my coach, Toni Martín, until the start of the tournament.

How much do you train with your partner?

This year, I am going to play the Championship with a new partner: Leyre Baldellou. She is from Navarra and I am from Madrid, so the chances of meeting are few. Anyway, we will play the previous Racket Tournament together and we will also do training sessions together. I am sure that we will fit in perfectly, that we will have a good championship and that we will fight a lot.

The Spanish Federation will pay great attention to this Championship and will dedicate a wide daily follow-up on Twitter, through the hashtag #CtoEspMenores2015.
