It is one of the proper names of the season in the Women's Circuit. At her 14 years, she became the youngest player to debut in the World Padel Tour and, together with Paula Eyheraguibel, she is not doing anything wrong. Shortly before facing her first match at the Estrella Damm Palma de Mallorca Open, the malagueña spoke with the Mystica companions.

Padel World Press .- He has talent in abundance and eager to learn. With the firm intention of continuing to grow in all respects, the Andalusian takes full advantage of each moment with her experienced partner, to keep evolving both on and off the tracks.

She knows that she is living a dream, that she is enjoying a beautiful experience with one of the best players in the history of this sport: "Paula makes me feel safe, happy and cheerful. He is very special and he continually spreads on you positive things ".

Do not miss the interview given to the team Mystica.

In what physical and mental state do you arrive at the Mallorca tournament?

Physically I feel much better than the first WPT I played in Valencia. Although it was only a short time ago, we have worked very hard and very intensely with my physical trainer, Antonio Portillo. I have noticed a great improvement. The truth is that I am very happy with the work we are doing in that regard. I think that so much effort is beginning to give me results, although I also know that we still have a lot to do and we will have to keep pushing and working harder and better to be able to keep up with the Professional Circuit. On a mental level, now without as much nerves as in the first, we are more and more confident, with more desire to continue improving as a couple and, above all, to enjoy playing paddle tennis. That is the secret of our mental preparation and there are some other psychological aspects that I work with Fran Cintado.

How is your preparation for the WPT tests?

I work on the track on Tuesdays and Thursdays with my coach, Pablo Herrera, with whom I train more technically. On Mondays and Wednesdays I get on the court with Jose Solano and we work on some specific aspects of my game, which the team understands I must improve. After that work on the track, I go with Portillo and we do physical preparation for about an hour. On Fridays, if I don't have to compete, we mount a match with friendly players of the 1st or 2nd Male Category where they require me to play at a very high pace, always looking for a ball speed according to the Professional Women's Circuit.

Do you and Paula train together at some time?

We can not train together because she lives in Barcelona and I live in Malaga; It is very complicated that we can get together so we only see each other in the WPT. What we do is stay to train together a day before the tournament starts and we try to do two sessions of morning and afternoon training. And if the day we start the tournament we play in the afternoon, we use the morning to do another training together. We do not have more time to train together. Paula also plays the Catalan Absolute Circuit and I am playing the National Circuit of Minors, Andalusian and some tests of the Absolute Andalusian Circuit. We have almost no free weekend. In addition, his team of coaches and mine speak continuously and we agree on many things to work separately. Paula and her team help us a lot in that sense.

After three tournaments as a couple, in which you have managed to reach the second round twice, what is your assessment of what is going on this season?

For me, being in two eighths of three WPT tournaments played, at the age of 14, is already amazing. We are getting along very well as a couple, helping each other where we can. And although we have been in for a short time, we are improving. We don't demand results from each other, but rather enjoy playing together and having fun; Although if I tell you the truth, neither Paula nor I like to lose or play table football… We are very competitive.

How are you arranging your tournaments in minors with appointments with WPT?

For the time being well, since the Junior tournaments do not start until late Friday and in WPT we usually play Wednesdays and Thursdays, for the moment ... That any day we stand in the rooms! It is true that it is not the same to prepare a tournament for minors than a WPT tournament. In each of them my game is different and I have to mentalize a lot to be able to give my best in every situation.

We are reaching the end of the year, how have you finished your studies with so many sports commitments?

I have managed to organize myself quite well and in school I have always been given all the facilities in the world to change exam dates or anything else. Everything is organized well the time to do everything, both to train and study and even go out with friends.
