On this occasion, we will learn the story of Ana María Romera, a woman from Granada who mobilized her entire family to meet her idol: Maxi Sánchez. What would happen on your trip to Madrid?
Padel World Press .- From the 05 to the 08 of March, in the Glass Pavilion of the Casa de Campo in Madrid, a new edition of the Padel Pro Show took place. One of the many visitors who passed through it were Ana María Romera, her husband and their children ... Her great objective: not to miss the presentation of Maxi Sánchez as a Bullpadel player.
Do not miss his story ... Once again, the paddle shows us again that it is a sport that moves passions.
"Good afternoon, my name is Ana M. and I want to share with you all my anecdote or, for us, the odyssey that happened to the whole family.
I am a great follower of the paddle and my work lets me perform my hobby at the wrong time ... So when there are games by Streaming, I usually see them and follow them. I see again and again those games that have you in tension, in which the class of players is illustrious. In a few words 'I love paddle tennis' and, to top it off, I'm a great follower of Maxi Sánchez ... If there's a clinic near my town, there I am; who plays nearby, there I am; that the WPT Circuit comes near my town, there I am; If there is there to go to Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Madrid, there I am ... Well, me and the whole family: husband and children, because my family also likes it and why I do not have a card so I can go.
Last year I won some tickets to go to Pádel Pro Show Madrid. I am from Granada and, therefore, we had doubts in going since there are many kilometers with children, school, work and car faults. I learned, that I learned very well, that Maxi Sánchez is going to be presented as a new player of Bullpadel that same day, so I could not miss it.
Being a follower of Maxi, I knew that it was a very important step for him and I wanted to be there to give him our full support. We organize a trip for Friday. My eldest son changed an exam for the previous day, my husband put forward work, my little son was recovering from a cold ... And I, very happy. It was a crazy trip. We got up at the 05: 00h in the morning to make a round trip to Madrid in a single day. 1000 kilometers in just a few hours but the occasion was worth it.
On Thursday we left everything very well organized to give us the early morning and face so many hours of car with the children ... The time of the trip arrived, very long and tired but finally we came to the stage of the Fair and the first thing we did when entering was go to the Bullpadel stand to ask what time would be the presentation of Maxi Sanchez, very excited, with the children very happy until a nice lady told us: 'Today is not Maxi's presentation, it's tomorrow; today comes Cata '.
I dropped the world on top, the face that was put on me was total fool ... What disappointment, I can not believe it! How can it be, after so many hours of driving and now the return, my children tired ... I did not know whether to laugh or cry. My husband did not know whether to leave me there or go and my children, what poor people!
So, what can we do now? The nice lady gave us a couple of Maxi posters and some stickers… I didn't know what to do with the posters and stickers but my little boy, when we got home, he did use them hehehe… Well, let's see the side positive. Since we are in the enclosure we stayed testing shovels, we played with the players who were there, we participated in competitions ... But without seeing Maxi. My little son had a blast because, as he follows the Circuit, at the age of 7 he knew all the players and he was very excited to be with them on the court… He told me: 'Mommy, what Maxi is missing. All his friends are here and he's not here. '
To this day we continue to encourage Maxi. We admire him very much in my house. Whenever we can, we go to the games and attend the Clinics ... I'm always encouraging him from social networks. I have more anecdotes, but this was the craziest and we did it as a family. Today and, God willing, we will go to Madrid to the Masters in December to encourage Maxi from the stands ... But this time we stayed in Madrid to enjoy the weekend and get to know the capital.
