Padel World Press .- The first semifinal of the Valencia Open faced two of the best couples so far this season: Ale Salazar - Gemma Triay in front of the number 4 of the Ranking, Patty Llaguno - Virginia Riera.
In the early stages, two gold points served for Salazar - Triay to take advantage on the scoreboard and score the first set in the blink of an eye (6-0). However, the second set was very different and, in a reaction full of courage, Llaguno - Riera achieved a break that served to confirm that they were not going to lower their arms without fighting.
Despite the fact that the number 1 in the world managed to level the contest (4-4), Patty and Virginia decided to grit their teeth and signed up for the next two games to send the outcome of the clash to the third and final sleeve (6-0 and 4 -6).
In it, Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay returned to show their best version and, without making concessions, they achieved a 5-0 income that was already an insurmountable obstacle for rivals who never stopped fighting.
Fused in a hug, the great favorites celebrated their triumph 6-0, 4-6 and 6-1, so they already know that they will fight for their third title of the year.

In the second half, the two young players, one of the sensations of this season, took a step forward and left the rocky Aránzazu Osoro - Victoria Iglesias on the road ... Already in the first set, luck did not take long to smile Delfi and Tamara who, with a gold point in the opening bars, achieved a break that allowed them to get ahead on the scoreboard. Very solid and with very clear ideas, Gaby Reca's pupils took the lead (6-3).
In the second set, they did not take their foot off the accelerator but, on the contrary, decided to step on it a little further. Thanks to this, in the blink of an eye they were already in command 5-0 and, shortly after, they closed the commitment with the final 6-3 and 6-1 that planted them in a new final.
