Padel World Press .- On this occasion we can read an article in which Juan Galiano will talk about one of those qualities of each player that, although it has an important innate component, can also be improved with training sessions.

Do not miss this enriching reportage ... What you enjoy and learn!

"When it comes to talking about reflexes, we should say that although they are something innate, they can also be worked on and improved. The best example of what is born with reflections is found in Juan Martín Díaz... He is capable of taking impossible balls on the net or anywhere on the court thanks to that innate ability he has ... And the fact is that his incredible reflexes, along with the rest of his qualities, make him one of the best players in the world .

It should be noted that having more or less reflections is not a determining factor in the game. It is just a more favorable resource to consider.

To improve the reflexes there are many exercises, which are usually a job to be done by the physical trainer. I will give you some tips to be able to work them on track during a workout:

a) Work from volley to volley, but increasing the speed of the ball more and more… Right against right volley, backhand against backhand, forehand against backhand and free volley. In the latter you can play the ball wherever you want: forehand, backhand or to the body.

b) In net position, the student will turn his back and, when he turns to get in the correct position, it will be when the teacher will throw the ball to any of the volleys. This same exercise can be done from the back of the court, in which the ball will be thrown with or without a wall.

c) In the back and back position, the student will close his eyes while the teacher will throw a ball, with or without a wall… At the teacher's signal, the student will open his eyes and try to hit the ball correctly. As in the previous case, this exercise can also be applied to the attack zone.

d) Tray-volley exercise ... The teacher will throw the ball at high speed when the student volleys, without telling him if it will go to the forehand or backhand volley.

To finish, and as a tip, when we play against players with good reflexes it would be advisable to avoid the melee ... This means that we should try to avoid volley versus volley confrontations since whoever has the best reflexes have a higher percentage of probability of Earn those points.
