The last program of 'Esto es Pádel', a space co-produced by Padel World Press and Capital Radio, had as its protagonist the new Andalusian Youth Coach. His recent appointment and other challenges such as the organization of the International Campus for Minors that will take place at the end of July in Malaga, were some of the issues that were discussed.

Padel World Press.- The Cordovan is one of the proper names in what the Area of Training in Andalusia is concerned. It is not surprising that after two decades dedicated to this task, since the FAP have given this responsibility: "I had been part of helping former technicians and now I have been led to lead this project that I know firsthand. It's a job with a lot of difficulty because Andalusia has a very high level ".

The challenge is very big… Andalusia has won the last seven editions of the Spanish Junior Championship in the Men's Category and has been present in the seven women's finals (being runner-up in the last two). This data shows the potential of the young promises that he will be lucky enough to lead. “The potential of Andalusian paddle tennis is inexhaustible. Players who stand out at the national level do not stop coming out thanks to a job well done ”.

How do you do it to follow the activity of so many good players? As pointed out, the Andalusian Federation has it very well organized: "In recent dates we organized a concentration of minors, with up to 8 players per category. In total were 64 boys and girls who came and were directed by 5 coaches, who prepared possible future partners. In many cases it has happened that we have formed pairs in these concentrations that later have gained titles ".

The padel has evolved a lot, both in the quarry and at a professional level, Foncho knows it very well: "It is showing that the commitment to the Sub'23 is paying off".

At the same time, he pointed out that the WTP Circuit should include more outdoor events: “The great figures like to play indoors because they have it more controlled. Hopefully World Padel Tour includes outdoor tests so that the weather helps to produce more surprises ”.

When talking about the International Campus of which he is part of the organization, and which will take place from July 24 to 30 in Malaga, he confessed: “We will have coaches like Jorge Martínez, Ramiro Choya, Pablo Mozo and Marcelo Capitani . Having them shows that they trust me. I have been working in this sport for many years and, as you know, there are no financial interests on this Campus. The only interest is to help the children ”.

To finish, he told us that there will be children of various nationalities and all categories, from Alevín to Junior: "At the moment, we only have a few 10 seats available because we do not want it to be overcrowded. We want to offer the highest quality. "

Do not hesitate and listen to the full program ... This is 'This is Paddle', a new meeting point for all lovers of this wonderful sport.
