Padel World Press .- On this occasion, they left us an article in which Juan Galiano He spoke about one of the fundamental aspects to be successful both in paddle tennis and in any other sport ... Knowing when and why hitting the ball hard can mean the difference between winning or losing a point, between winning or losing a match ...

Do not miss this enriching reportage… Enjoy and learn!!

“It is common for people who start playing to think that the harder they hit the ball, the better, since when it bounces off the glass, it will shoot out and the opponent will not be able to reach it. However, this is a mistake since as soon as the opponent knows how to defend himself minimally, he will know that the ball will bounce a lot and, automatically, he will wait for the ball as far away from the glass to be able to hit with ease.

It is the teachers' obligation to advise the student correctly on this subject and make him see that it is useless to hit him with no sense ... It is a function of the teachers to teach the student to choose the right stroke at every moment and, in my opinion, that is something so or more important to teach the technique itself.

When to hit a ball hard?

From my point of view there are several moments to hit the ball efficiently:

  1. To define the point:

When they throw a short balloon at us it is the right moment to hit the ball hard.

When we throw a balloon not long past and we see that the opponent sticks to the background ... And, although the auction is not very good, will not have reaction to return the ball.

  1. Although the point is not defined:

We can hit to surprise the rival pair or to try to dislocate it a little if after several points in a row we are throwing balloons and we only play trays. The purpose at the moment is to make the rivals think and not be comfortable defending.

Learning to choose the moment to hit the ball, will make us gain confidence in our game and add a grain of sand so that at the end of the game, it can fall on our side.
