Padel World Press .- The large audience that filled the facilities of the Club Cerrado del Águila (Mijas) with life and color, enjoyed an afternoon of great paddle tennis, in which many of the best players of the World Paddle Tour Circuit exhibited their wide arsenal of resources ... all the contenders wanted to ensure their presence among the four best couples of the tenth tournament of the season.
To begin, the day began with a surprise… José Antonio García Diestro-Rubén Rivera fulfilled the predictions and beat Jaime Bergareche-Martín Sánchez Piñeiro 6-3 and 7-6.
Just below, Franco Stupaczuk-Fede Quiles could not relax either. The seeds 1 number beat Matías Nicoletti-Gerard Company by 6-3 and 7-5.
On the other hand, Godo Díaz-Lucho Capra had to be used thoroughly to leave on the way to one of the sensations of the tournament: Eduard Bainad-Jake Benzal. In a vibrant duel full of emotion, they imposed their rivals for a double 7-6 in a crash in which one of the crystals of the track splintered after a hard impact against Godo himself during the tie break of the first set.
To finish, in the commitment that ended a vibrant day, Matías Díaz-Gonzalo Rubio had to retire due to an injury of the first when they lost by 6-2 and 3-2 against Peter Alonso-Javi Ruiz.
