There is no doubt. They are the fashionable couple of the World Padel Tour Circuit, as they have just confirmed with their second consecutive title. In an endless final full of emotion, they defeated Maxi Sánchez-Sanyo Gutierrez 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 and 7-6.

Padel World Press .- The excitement could not be greater and the equality was such that each and every one of the sets seemed like rubbings. The alternatives did not stop happening, the spectacular blows were the order of the day and the tension was more than palpable. The four players surrendered to the maximum on the track and, with it, they delighted the most of 2.000 fans who completely filled the stands of the Central Course of the Bahía Sur Sports City.

In the first heat, the contestants risked again and again in search of that break that would put them ahead on the scoreboard. Sanyo and Maxi were the first to get it but, right after, Paquito-Maxi responded with a contrabreak, which returned the equality to the electronic (2-2). From that moment, normality prevailed on the court and with two couples exhibiting a high level, everything seemed headed for sudden death until Navarro-Grabiel detected a moment of weakness in their rivals and knew how to take advantage of it to take the first set (7 -5).

Already in the second, Paquito and Maxi tried to take out the current number 3 of the ranking but, of course, the Argentines were not going to be easily intimidated ... In this way, the duel entered a carousel of breaks and counterbreaks that unleashed euphoria in the stands ... The show was increasing. Neither of the two pairs managed to put land in between, although, yes, Maxi Sánchez-Sanyo Gutiérrez were always ahead. It was for this reason that, like their opponents in the first set, they knew how to take advantage of their opportunity and returned the equality to the contest (5-7).

In the third set, players' legs began to show symptoms of fatigue after more than two hours running on the court. Thus, the madness of the breaks was passed to the tranquility of the services and it could even be seen how Paquito Navarro had to ask for the entrance of the physiotherapist due to muscular problems. The intensity of the shock was taking its toll. The points became longer and the ties followed one another until the 5-5, the magic marker of the night, was reached. Navarro-Grabiel clenched their teeth at that moment and after breaking Maxi-Sanyo's serve, they closed the third set with their serve (7-5).

An epic outcome

The commitment exceeded three hours and the physio began to accumulate work. The muscular pains made their inevitable appearance and both Sanyo and Maxi Grabiel also requested their assistance. With the arrival of the punctures and discomforts, the rhythm of the stake calmed down and that allowed the quality to take a step forward. As in that facet the players were matched it was reached a tie break that could be definitive.

And that was what happened. Paquito Navarro and Maxi Grabiel are those players who handle themselves perfectly in the decisive moments and, in that way, knew how to handle their discomfort, sent from start to finish in the sudden death and, with a score of 7-3, they added his second consecutive title.

Cast in a big hug, congratulating their rivals for the great game they had played, the Sevillian and the player from La Plata were consecrated as the Revelation of the final stretch of the current campaign ... And they already think about the next step Argentine lands to try to conquer the 'triple crown' !!

The show does not stop. The players will put in the next hours heading to Argentina and we can only say ... Enjoy the Game !!!
