It is getting closer and closer to the beginning of a competition, with the aim of becoming the biggest amateur competition in Spain. And then we will tell you more details about its development.
Padel World Press .- With the start date scheduled for the month of October of 2014, and with the challenge of having 15.000 and 20.000 players, it is already confirmed that it will have the presence of clubs from Andalusia, Catalonia, Murcia, Madrid, Valencia and Galicia.
With respect to its competition system, we have already known that it will be based on different phases:
- Zonal Regular Phase: It will be developed between the months of October and April. In it, each team will play in their area. All the sets will be divided into groups of five or six squads per Division, depending on the levels of each one. In this first round, all the contestants will dispute 8 or 10 clashes (depending on whether the group is from 5 or 6 teams), half as locals and the other half as visitors. The fact that it is celebrated in a period of seven months, will ensure a competition without stress for its participants.
- Challenge Phase: After the departure of the Regular Phase, the Challenges will begin. In them, the first team of each Division may challenge the last set of the Superior Division. In case of winning, they would exchange positions for the second round, which will dynamize the Regular Phase.
- Fase Play-Off Zonel: To play during the month of May. All squads will measure each other in a Preliminary Phase and a Final Phase. Once finished, a General Classification will be obtained, in which each of the squads will obtain a position and the Division in which they will play in the next edition of the National Padel Series will be determined.
- Zone Interseries Phase: It will be developed during the month of June and will consist of a Play-Off Master National Series, in which the first eight teams of the 2 will participate in the best Categories: Grand Slam and 1.000. These formations will be the winners of the Play-Off Zones or Interseries. If there are more than eight zones in which Play-Off Zones are played, the organization will establish Interseries matches between the different Zonal Champions, whose winner will be the one who obtains the place for the Play-Off Master National Series.
- Finals of the National Master Series Play-Offs: Also in June. The Champions of each Zonal and Interseries Play-off (determined by the organization) will be present in the fight to conquer the National Title ... Nine months of competition will receive their prize.
The registration period is now open!! Any fan can participate. From groups of friends to players who, individually, want to score ... And the organization itself will try to group them and form new teams.
It should be remembered that clubs can register their sets or sign up as venues and offer their facilities to those formations that lack fixed tracks.
