Do not miss this interesting article that our classmates offered us StreetPádel. On this occasion, they presented us with a "Decalogue" with the "bad" habits or customs that the padel amateur players.

Padel World Press .- As is usual in any other sport, when a person starts in the world of paddle tennis, he usually has many mistakes with the shovel, especially technical ones. That is why, below, the ten most common mistakes of the amateur padel player will be listed.

- One of the main problems of a player who starts in this sport is to make an incorrect grip. It is very common for a person who is starting to take the shovel high above the fist and with a bad grip. The main way we have to learn is the 'Continental Grip' or, also called, 'Hammer Grip'.

- Another very common initiation problem is front hitting. All paddle strokes must be made from the side.

- In this list of typical errors, we could not miss waiting for the ball with the shovel down. This makes us hit the ball late, since a lot of time will be lost when raising the paddle and placing it to hit the ball. We always have to be with the shovel up and ready for any ball that we can receive.

- The next mistake is usually made a lot is in the serve. We are talking about hitting the ball too low, causing the ball to parabola too big and bounce too much. The serve must always be made at the waist, making the ball always go from top to bottom.

- Another mistake is hitting with a rigid body. The legs must always be semi-flexed, which will allow us to hit the ball at the waist.

- Another common mistake is to hit the ball too far forward or too far back, causing us not to have exhaustive control of the ball. Always hit it at torso level.

- The amateur padel player usually has a bad throw in the serve. It is usually thrown too far forward or too far behind, which means that the ball cannot be directed to the desired service box point.

- A new mistake: doing the typical tennis set, that is, too long. On a paddle tennis court, the dimensions with respect to the tennis court are much smaller. Because of this we have less reaction time, so the blow has to be shortened enough so that it gives time to react correctly and we can impale the ball in the best possible way.

- One of the last mistakes to highlight would be to make the ball with the face of the blade at the same height as the handle. That should not be so. The head of the blade must always be up, to have maneuverability on the blade.

- Lastly, you cannot forget the mistake of smashing head-on, which makes it impossible to impale the ball correctly.

Do you recognize yourself in some of those mistakes? What did you do to correct them? In Padel World Press we want to know your opinion. You can leave a message in this news or send an email to [email protected] .
