The difficult world situation we are experiencing due to COVID 19 was not an impediment to the launch this year of the international paddle circuit chaired by the Monegasque businessman Fabrice Pastor. With great milestones achieved to date, and when there are still several months of competition left, the former Swedish tennis player wanted to advance the modifications that they will experience next year.
As anticipated at the time, there will be a significant increase in the prizes of the different categories. The Open will go from 35.000 to 90.000 euros, the Masters from 60.000 to 110.000 euros and the Grand Masters from 100.000 to 140.000 euros. In turn, it should not be overlooked that all Main Draw pairs will have accommodation for as long as they remain alive in the tournament.
Although Thomas Johansson did not want to advance the venues and the number of tournaments that will make up the 2022 Calendar, a minimum of 14 tournaments and presence in a minimum of 10 countries is projected.
