Padel World Press .- The paddle is one of the sports that has broken with more force in our environment in recent years. Every day there are more fans who play it, who have 'hooked' to this sport and who stay almost every week to 'throw a little game'. Not to mention the magnitude that professional tournaments have been acquiring throughout these last seasons, where we can see the great stars in action.

All of them, both professionals and amateurs, are immersed in the practice of a sport activity (regardless of their level of play) and therefore have specific nutritional requirements derived from this sporting practice. We can not forget that sports practice involves a stress or an overload on the system. Adequate physical preparation and a nutrition adapted to it, they are indispensable to assimilate correctly those loads, so that they do not generate damage in the organism and allow it to be transformed into an increasingly resistant and efficient machine.

The first step will be to adapt the caloric distribution of our meals to our energetic demands, organizing them in an adequate way so as not to get to the track in a situation of hypoglycemia by fasting or doing digestion, since both situations are totally inadvisable.

It is advisable to leave 2 at 4 hours of margin between the last meal and the time to jump on the track. In this way, we make sure that we do not have digestive problems and that we are in better conditions to face a training or a match. Although if what we have ingested is a shake (a food of easier and faster digestion), we could be exercising without any problem below those two hours.

I always advise to go 'testing' in some workouts and adjust those times individually, since in some cases any content in the stomach generates discomfort while in others waiting two or three hours can generate hunger and it is necessary to take a small snack or snack, a light intake in the form of a drink or bar, something light, easy and quick digestion, which provides an extra 'dose' of energy and nutrients

Undoubtedly, these nutrition guidelines, and others that we will be 'crumbling' in future deliveries, help us considerably to take care of our health, avoid 'scares' and also improve our physical condition when it comes to pick up our shovel and face, either to ourselves or to our rivals, on the track.
