Padel World Press .- We are playing well, the rivals do not know what to do, they do not see the ball ... We sit on the changeover and on the return they begin to play us more slowly, to slow down the actions, to extend the points ... We begin to fail, we despair and, suddenly, we find that we do not know what to do because the slow ball is killing us.

Why does it happen?

In general, when playing at a higher speed we are more in tension, more concentrated since the ball comes very fast and we do not have time to distract our mind in other things.

When the ball comes slower, we start to think more ... And we do it because it gives us time to think if I throw it to one side or another, stronger or slower. In addition to that, we tried to print more speed to the ball to return to the dynamic that was making us win ... This, if you are not well concentrated, often leads to error and this, to distrust, so we suddenly find ourselves Under the marker, not knowing how to get out of this situation of slow balls that do no harm and above, when we want to give speed, we throw them out.

So when we get off the beat, the first thing we have to try is to stay as we were comfortable ... And if we are not able to because we start to fail, we will have to start playing with less speed but with weight, waiting for the easy ball to accelerate it and so, little by little, return to the speed we had lost.

And above all ... The most important thing is keep calm and do not despair. That is where we would be lost and we would have fallen in what the rivals were looking for with their strategy.
