The movements and formations of new pairs do not stop at the World Paddle Tour Circuit. After the 'revolution' experienced in the days before the start of the Balearic test, everything indicates that, at the end of it, a new dance of couples will take place as a result of the unexpected separation of Chiqui Cepero and Pablo Lijó.

Padel World Press .- They began the campaign with great enthusiasm, wanting to start a long-term project that would lead them to consolidate in the top positions of the WPT Ranking.

They started the season by reaching the quarterfinals in Gijón, after leaving Juan Martín Díaz-Cristian Gutiérrez and Maty Marina-Álex Ruiz on the way. Right after they were present in the eighths of Valencia and Barcelona, they were eliminated in the first round of Las Rozas by Tito Allemandi-Agustín Gómez Silingo (double 6-4) to finish falling in the eighth of the Lisbon Challenger.

Despite these results, Pablo and Chiqui decided to end their joint adventure and start new sports projects separately, which would allow them to continue growing at a professional level.

Although initially both players wanted to wait until the end of the Estrella Damm Mallorca Open to publicize their separation, rumors that were already beginning to circulate on social networks made it necessary to advance the confirmation of the news.

As we have been able to know, Pablo Lijó (recent signing of Vision) will join his way to Jordi Muñoz, which will form a couple with two very complementary players, who will have to follow very closely.

In our talk with Adrián Caviglia, coach of Pablo Lijó, the Team Vibor-A coach told us: “In my opinion, the fusion of this couple is what is happening right today on paddle tennis, which would be to unite experience and youth . It would be something similar to what happens with Reca-Lebrón or Jardim-Stupaczuk, but with a difference… Pablo has incredible potential and, without having played in the Junior Category like them, he is starring in a meteoric career. I've been training him for two years and I can tell you that his evolution never ceases to amaze me day by day. He always wants to train and listens to me in every detail what I try to convey to him from my experience as a player coach. I think it will be a couple that can give a lot of war to anyone and that will have the firm objective of getting among the eight best pairs on the Circuit. Both will offer details of high quality, know how to compete and will have the power of Pablo. I think that is what you have to put in the balance when analyzing this couple, because they are necessary requirements to be able to compete at the top in the current paddle ”.

It remains to know what the fate of Chiqui Cepero and Fernando Poggi will be, since their decisions could lead to the beginning of a new 'domino effect' in terms of new partner formations.
