It is very likely that you have asked yourself why it is said so often that paddle tennis is an easy sport to learn and play ... In addition to very funny! If you have done it on any occasion, the team PadelGood reveals what would be some of the most important keys in this regard for the prestigious Argentine coach.

Padel World Press .-  Do not miss this article, in which we can see the first installment of an interesting story, in which the coach of Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima will offer fans some of the reasons why he considers padel to be such a sport. grateful 'when it comes to learning and enjoying.

They would be the following:

Tip #1: Do you know that paddle tennis is easy to learn?

  • For the track in which it is played. It is relatively small.
  • The speed of the ball. Give time to be placed.
  • The measures of the shovel. It facilitates its management.
  • And the control hits.

Tip #2: Easier still, the ball is always close to you

Almost always (with the exception of professionals), the ball stays inside the court, that is to say that beyond its limits you should not go. As if that was not enough, you also play with a partner, with whom you share half a side each ...

And if that is not enough, if you are well placed, a few steps will be enough to find the ball. Therefore, do not worry too much: the ball will always be close to you.

It does not sound bad, right?

Tip #3: I present the clue

If I tell you that a football field is for you it only sounds pretty big, right?

With the padel track, although it is smaller, the same thing happens. What matters is the area that you must master ... And how much is that area?

Some 2,5 meters wide and about 5-6 meters long. This zone, being well placed translates into 2 or 3 steps to the sides, another pair backwards and a few 5-6 along.

It does not seem too much room to dominate, right?

Tip #4: But why only this area?

As I told you in the first tip, one of the keys is the time and the flight of the ball.

Most of the time, when the ball comes towards you, it ends up staying relatively close. Here are some examples: If you touch the side wall it approaches you; if it comes crossed by the middle, whether or not it touches the back wall, it also approaches you.

And if you throw a medium-sized ball, more of the same.

Therefore, until you improve your level considerably, just worry about being attentive in your area.

Tip #5: I present the shovel

Why did I tell you that the shovel was one of the keys?

As you know, the paddle is a lever and the shorter the distance from the center of the palm of your hand to the area where you touch the ball, the easier it will be to do it well.

Do you know what that distance is? Less than a span and a half. It does not seem so complicated, right?

Tip #6: The control hits

In the paddle you basically have the background and network hits. But what is really important to have fun and spend a lot of balls? Well simply that you have clear what to do in both cases to control them.

For example, in the background hits just touch and accompany the ball you will achieve incredible results. And in the network, in some it is enough to block the passage of the ball and, in others, with a smooth paste and accompany, you will hit the most number of times.

You already know why it's easy! Now to play.

Tip #7: You already know why it's easy ... Now to play

The first two situations that you will find when you start playing will be the 'rallies from the back of the court' and hitting the ball after the pot.

What will you need to master them? Discover in what 'area' the ball moves and then 'get well to wait'

And what is that area? If you read the next one, you will see it very clearly.

Tip #8: Two ping-pong tables ... What's that?

It is exactly what measures the area where the ball moves when you play it back.

Two ping-pong tables !!! Nothing else? It does not seem too big, right?

Therefore, if you are well placed, it will be relatively simple to cover.

Stay with this idea and do not miss the next tip.

Tip #9: Your base of operations at the bottom of the track

In order to control the two ping-pong tables that I mentioned in the previous tip, you need a 'base of operations' ... Where will that base be?

More or less, 1 step behind the service line and another step, or step and a half, of the side wall. You will notice that towards the side wall you do not have to run (you have it to the side), the back one you cover with 2 maximum steps and, if you play the ball in the middle, with 3 steps you will be there. Does not sound bad, does not it?

Tip #10: I forgot, how do I take the shovel?

To find out how to pick up the shovel it is good that you know what situations you have to solve. And what are those situations? Return balls from one side or the other of the body, which are high or low, with or without wall, etc.

Therefore, if we find one, that allows us to keep the two sides of the plus-minus blade with the same angle that will be good.

How do I find it? Easy, you take the shovel as if it were a hammer and you had to hammer with the song a nail on a table. Of course you can make small changes to make you more comfortable ... And you'll see what works very well.

So far the first delivery of the keys with which Miguel Sciorilli explains why, in his opinion, the paddle is easy to learn and play ...
