The meetings of the morning round of the round of sixteen have brought two unexpected results ... And it is that the appointment has been without their 'Maxis' to the first change. Both Maxi Sánchez and Maxi Grabiel have packed their bags earlier than expected after falling into their respective commitments.

Padel World Press .- The fans who gathered to watch the first round matches of the Main Draw of the seventh tournament of the season lived a day full of excitement, spectacle and great surprises ... Among them, perhaps the most outstanding was the victory of Marcelo Capitani and Eduard Bainad against Sanyo Gutiérrez-Maxi Sánchez (7-6, 6-7 and 6-3).

As Bainad himself confessed: "It is something totally unexpected, considering the difficulties we had in the two qualifying games of the Previa." For his part, Capitani said: "We played very well and, to be honest, I have not seen the game table starting tomorrow." For Marcelo, this was his second victory against Gutiérrez-Sánchez.

Other names of the day were Martín Sánchez Piñeiro and Toni Bueno. Both will be for the first time in the Round of 16 round, after beating Álvaro Cepero-Javier Escalante for 6-3, 6-7 and 6-3. They already know that their next rivals will be Paquito Navarro-Matías Díaz.

The farewell of Grabiel-Gutiérrez

Before jumping to the track, both Maxi and Cristian already knew that this would be the last tournament they would play as a couple. To date, the results had not accompanied them and, therefore, these two great friends made the decision to end their adventure.

In his debut in Valladolid, they had to measure their strength with those of Godo Díaz-Ramiro Moyano, a very tough duo who demonstrated this with a great performance. In the end, they consummated the surprise and were imposed by 7-5, 4-6 and 6-3.

Neither did Seba Nerone-Gaby Reca, who had to overcome a set against Brazil's Marcello Jardim and Juan Lebron from Cádiz, achieve the triumph by 6-7, 7-6 and 6-3.

In turn, those who added their first victory as a couple were Willy Lahoz-David Gutiérrez. After beating by 7-6 and 6-4 the Jesús Espejo-Javier Ruiz from Granada, they will meet in the second round with Ernesto Moreno-Javier Limones, who beat Tamame-Blanco for 6-3 and 6-1.

The show does not stop at the Plaza Mayor in Valladolid and we can only say ... Enjoy the Game !!!
