They are already back in our country, after a tour of Argentina that resulted in the injury of their partner, Ramiro Moyano. His next challenge will be to defend his country in the XIII World Championship for National Teams but, before heading to Cascais, he has shared a chat with his teammates from the Vibor-A Team.

Padel World Press .- He is about to face a very special tournament for him. For Maxi it is always a true pride to be able to wear the colors of his national team and, for that reason, he already counts the hours to debut in the World Cup that will take place in Portugal.

This year will be five years as a member of the snake team ... How would you value this time with your firm? What do you think of your new shovel? How would you rate the game and the results obtained during this campaign?

Do not miss this interview given to the Vibor-A team.

How would you assess your passage through Argentine lands?

Well I would say that with a bittersweet flavor, since we could not complete a balanced performance. In the Mendoza tournament we reached the minimum goal we set for ourselves, which was the quarter-final round. We fell against Matías Díaz-Maxi Sánchez although we had our options in the second set. In Buenos Aires we didn't have our tournament. From the beginning of the first crossing we were uncomfortable and, to top it off, Ramiro Moyano injured himself in the same leg as at the beginning of the year, so we had to leave. A shame!

What padel environment have you found in Argentina?

Since the second round in Mendoza the pavilions have been bursting; there was no room for a soul. I think these two tournaments have meant a before and after in the resurgence of paddle tennis in Argentina. At the media level, there has been a lot of hype to the two disputed tests ... This is very important because paddle tennis had no place in the media for many years. Buenos Aires was covered with the posters of the tournament, televisions echoed in a timely manner and in the streets paddle tennis was once again experienced. All this will be very beneficial for the amateur padel.

With hardly any rest after the return of Argentina, it's time to face the World Cup in Portugal. How do you focus your participation in Cascais?

Crazy kilometers in so few days! I am leaving for Cascais with great enthusiasm since I am going to defend the colors of my country. I will only participate in the team event; In Open Mode I will not play because I am not convinced by the format. Spain and Argentina present two great teams. It is a pity that Jardim and Lima are not in the Brazilian team to make everything more competitive.

You have been playing the new Black Mamba Edition for three tournaments… What can you tell us about it?

It is a return to my origins with Vibor-A. The Black Mamba was the first racket I played with when I reached the brand, almost five years ago now. From the first moment that I had knowledge of the evolution of the model, I wanted to participate in the project to feel the most mine shovel when the moment came to take it. When I tried the finished new model, after the tests, the sensations were unbeatable: all the features that I remembered from the first model appeared improved with each hit. I feel like it's an extension of my hand.

Describe any improvements you have found in the new model.

I think that the new Black Mamba, while still presenting a nice and soft touch, has gained in consistency. What the Black Edition transmits is a perfect balance between a soft rubber and the power that is required of a racket in the current way of playing paddle tennis.

What is the 'Liquid' concept that Vibor-A has incorporated into its new models?

As the technical managers of the company explained to me, it consists of taking maximum care of the application of the different technologies so that there is no friction between them. On a technical level I don't know what they will have done… What I can assure you is that the result on the track is spectacular.

In the absence of the Keler Euskadi Open and the Master Finals, what is your assessment of the 2016 season?

With quite highs and lows, similar to 2015. We had a couple of high-altitude tournaments where we could have done something else, since the options were there. We always missed the final step to reach more important rounds. These decisive steps are those that we have not learned to walk since last year, we have not hit the key. I think that in the last tournaments the mental fatigue has made a dent in us but in Donostia we will have to be at our best to ensure our presence in the End of Season Master.

Did you expect better results next to Ramiro Moyano?

To be honest, yes. We had very good expectations after reaching the final of the Master in 2015. The completion of last year made us think that the evolution in this season was going to be important, but it was not like that. At the first change, Rami was injured in Valencia and we have not managed to compact the couple's game based on balance and solvency.

On these dates Vibor-A turns five, what has it meant for you all this time?

With Vibor-A have been five years to lung, five years full of joy to see how a project develops, grows, gains prestige and consolidates as one of the most valued brands in the market. I have been an exceptional witness of the daily evolution of its products, of the conscientious work of the members of a family that fight to arm match to realize their dream. I have been a true privileged.
