Padel World Press .- All sports, whether the paddle or any other discipline that we know, share a series of values that define them as they can be companionship, respect, effort, the desire to excel, discipline or coexistence.

Last week we saw a good example during the dispute of a tennis match corresponding to the Brisbane Tournament, in which the Hungarian player faced off Grigor Dimitrov and British Kyle Edmund.

The match that measured the strength of both in the quarterfinal round was interrupted by a false step by Edmund, who he suffered a sprain in his foot and ended up falling on the track while making clear gestures of pain. Immediately, Dimitrov came running out of his own field and went to see how his rival was doing. that helped to get to his chair since he limped ostensibly.

Although at first it looked like a serious injury, everything ended up in a scare and the commitment could be ended, in which Dimitrov needed to get to the third set to beat on a scoreboard of 6-3, 6-7 and 6-4.

Even so, the result is sometimes in the background and, going further, we are left with the Huge gesture of sportsmanship by Grigor Dimitrov, which showed what are the sports values that should prevail in any competition.

Undoubtedly, an example for paddle fans who read us what sport is in its purest essence: not only a game, but also a vehicle to promote values  as respect, cooperation, coexistence or equality, on which to grow and educate young and old.
