It is one of the names of the Women's Circuit. After passing through the world of tennis, the Canarian player, but settled in, has had a spectacular landing in the paddle. Consolidated in the top positions of the Ranking, the Black Crown member tells us about the start of this season, in which she will go for it with her new partner: Cata Tenorio.
Padel World Press .- The new season has started and with it my routines: classes at Ipadel Vallés, University studies, my physical training with Jon Grau and technicians with Juan Alday. I do not want to start without taking the opportunity to thank so much the support of all those who show, day after day, their professionalism and involvement with this project that we have undertaken as well as that of my training partners: Ramón, Adam, Nino ... everything is more enjoyable !!
Since the month of February, when the Catalan Circuit started, I have played a total of 7 tournaments, of which I have won five with different teammates such as Noelia Márquez, Sandra Hernández, Martita Ortega and Cata Tenorio. In the others, Martita and I were both finalists and semifinals against the twins Sánchez Alayeto, playing on both occasions very even matches.
I am one of those who think that the Catalan Circuit continues to grow year after year. Many of the best players and professional players use it as a method of preparation to face their next tests. With regard to the women's competition, we have had different incorporations such as Noelia Márquez, Celeste Paz and Paula Eyheraguibel, who have moved their place of residence to Catalonia.
On the other hand, I would like to emphasize that we are very happy because a few days ago the long-awaited and awaited World Padel Tour 2014 Calendar was published ... It seems that after the disputes a good port has been reached and that we can continue enjoying the Professional Circuit.
This year, the boys will start later than in previous campaigns while the girls will start earlier. We will both meet at the Estrella Damm Barcelona Open, a test that will be played from 19 to 25 at the Real Club de Polo facilities.
To finish, I want to remember that my new partner to compete in the Professional Circuit will be Cata Tenorio. Great athlete with more than 20 years of experience, he is still in the top positions and, together with her, I hope to continue evolving.
