Padel World Press .- Recent signing of the ASICS Team, Marc Quílez He began with great enthusiasm a season in which he would share the track with Andrés Britos, a more experienced partner and with whom he had already shone in some tournaments of the Catalan Federation.
Unfortunately for him, the Catalan suffered a blow to his right hand, which caused a fracture in the fifth metacarpal, one of the lesions par excellence of the upper limb.
Shortly after being operated, with the firm intention of recovering in a short period of time, Marc Quílez himself pointed out through his social networks:
"I had just operated on my fifth metacarpal fracture by Dr. Barrera ... Everything went very well !!!
Now it's time to work hard to return to the tracks as soon as possible.
I want to thank everyone who has written or called me during these difficult days for me.
#the countdown begins
Marc Quílez ".
Known as the 'Fracture of the Boxer', the fracture of the fifth metacarpal is presented in the hand by a blow or trauma resulting from a fall, accident or sports practice. It is vitally important not to make any movement to prevent the injury from worsening.
In most cases, after an operation, the hand will be immobilized for 3 weeks through the use of orthopedic products and, after this period, rehabilitation will begin.
