Padel World Press .- The paddle has always been defined as a accessible discipline and affordable by its conditions, which allows any person to play without having a portentous physical form. We are talking about a sport where the greatest requirement for its practitioner comes in the technical section, since to dominate the execution of its different blows will give us greater possibilities of winning points and games. For this reason, from Padel World Press we open the new section The Paddle Technique, in which we will explain the main technical aspects that must be taken into account during the dispute of a meeting.

To begin, we have divided into two parts a small compilation of the basic strokes in paddle, which every player should know and execute correctly. We start with the serve, the backhand and the forehand.

The serve in paddle

One of the first basic strokes that any amateur should begin to master is the serve, since it is the starting point of everything that is to come.

To do it, you have to stand behind the service line, let the ball bounce and before it is above our waist hit it to the opposite field. We can try to take the opponent's body, towards the wall, or to the 'T' on the other side of the track. Its execution will depend on the conditions and placement of the adversaries.

Throughout the serve, there are usually not many points in padel, so its main objective is to execute it properly to be able to upload to the network with comfort and get a better position to take the initiative of the point.

The reverse, one of the most complicated 'basic hits'

This is a type of hit very common in the paddle but complicated to execute in the right way. In order not to make your weak point inside out, you must do it by taking the shovel in mode 'continental grip', as if we were waving, and fully stretch the arm. In turn, we must flex the legs, to receive the ball with an optimal position of the body.

When we are going to hit, we will arm and we will load the weight on the right leg (in the case of being right-handed) and, when we make contact with the ball, we must do it with the blade straight and at the height of the knee, later releasing the striking arm.

If we do it like this, we can execute the reverse accurately and win many points.

The forehand

Is one of the most important hits in the attack game, since it is with the most points we will get.

In this case, we must also flex the legs, sharing the weight between them and tilting the body forward. At the moment of the hit we will have to place the right leg behind (if we are right-handed) and point forward with the left arm, which will serve as a lever. We will do the impact with the ball at waist level and we will continue the trajectory of the hit of ascending form with the arm of the shovel.

In the next part of this article on The Paddle Technique we will analyze the volley, tray and smash, three more basic hits that you have to master to start playing at a high level.
