After the great success achieved in its first three editions, the most responsible for this exciting amateur competition have already set to work to finalize the preparations for the fourth installment of an exciting event ... In which we will find many new features and surprises!
Padel World Press .- With an increasingly consolidated project at the national level, in the face of the 2017-2018 edition, its top executives hope to once again surpass all expectations thanks to the continuous dedication of a great team of professionals ... The National Series of Padel Amstel Radler continue to surprise after three years and its dimension does not stop growing.
With the same enthusiasm as the first day, with a commendable spirit of work, each campaign achieves what seems impossible and sets the bar a bit higher to offer thousands of incentives that make amateur fans can enjoy a competition of its category without comparison.
It is expected that this season will exceed the 35.000 players who already participated in the IIIª Edition. Among the main novelties for this campaign, it should be noted that a new system of alignments will be created according to the sum of points in the SNP Ranking. There will be a Final of the Regular Phase (Champion of the Opening and Closing), with direct access to the Interseries Phase. In turn, for the 2 first sets of each Division a mandatory Challenge Phase has been created mid-season, with a new score adjustment.
Another very important measure, and in which the leadership of the National Paddle Series has placed great emphasis, will be the new limitation of players at all levels, for which the historical record of SNP wins will be taken into account. In turn, at the end of this edition there will be promotions and descents of two teams per category instead of just one.
As we have been able to know, the matches will be played with the new balls Babolat Padel Tour, a prestigious French firm that will also provide discount checks for all its products to SNP players.
Closer and closer to its start, the top managers of the competition wanted to explain what their calendar will be like:
a) Zonal Regular Phase - September from 2017 to March from 2018
Your dates will be different in each Zone. This phase will be played by each squad in its corresponding area and, in it, the participating teams will be divided into groups of five or six teams for each division depending on the levels of each one. During this phase, each of them will play between 8 and 10 matches (depending on whether the group is 5 or 6 teams), half as locals and the other half as visitors.
b) Challenges Phase
It will be developed between the 5ª and 6ª Days of each Regular Phase. During the same, the first and second team of each Division will challenge the last and penultimate team of the top division and, if defeated, they would permute the positions of both formations for the second round ... That way the Regular Phase will be revitalized.
c) Zonal Play Off - In the month of April of 2018
All teams participating in the Regular Phase of each category will face each other in a Qualifying Draw with Consolation. Once finalized, a General Classification will be obtained, in which each squad will know its definitive position and, with it, the Division in which it will compete in the next edition of the National Padel Series will be determined.
d) Regional Interseries - Mayo 2018
The champions of each category of the Zonal Playoffs and of the Final of the Regular Phase will dispute.
e) Play-Off Master Series National Padel - End of June 2018
In it, the champions of each Interseries will fight to get the National Title of this edition.
