At the beginning of December we proposed a survey to our readers ... We wanted to know what factors were most taken into account by fans and practitioners of this sport when purchasing their shoes ... And we have the answer!
Padel World Press .- It is inevitable. Sooner or later, all players have to buy new shoes to continue enjoying the paddle and there are many elements that can influence when making that important decision.
To begin, it should be noted that fans are increasingly aware of the importance of acquiring specific shoes for this discipline. Until now, it was very common for players to use models of running or tennis but, of course, that was not recommended ... And the surface of the track and the type of movements have nothing to do.
As we usually say, each person is a world. What for some is essential, for others is hardly taken into account and, in that sense, with the answers obtained in our survey, the factor that most fans stand out is the comfort when it comes to putting on their shoes. As our colleague Hugo R always says: "Is there anyone who can play paddle tennis with some shoes that are not comfortable?".
Other points that are most taken into account is the support of the foot, the stability of it to avoid problems with the constant changes of pace or sudden stops so common in the paddle. That is why its grip and ease of movement also plays a fundamental role.
Its resistance and durability are other of the most outstanding factors. A good investment is guaranteed when the life of the product is prolonged over time and, in the case of a paddle shoe, it is important that the inside of the footwear and the sole is resistant.
As we say, each fan has specific needs and, in something as personal as the choice of a shoe, you have to detect which are ours to know how to choose the one that will adapt to us perfectly.
