Padel World Press .- After the meeting held by the players with the World Padel Tour Circuit, that took place last 19th of July at the Reebok Sports Club La Finca, just 4 days later a meeting was held at the Gran Meliá Fénix Hotel facilities, organized by MCI Sports and that started the 12: 00 hours.
After a first presentation of the Circuit, conditions for players, awards, venues and all the information of an initiative that emerges as an alternative to the current model, and that will be based on very similar a format to the one that has been developed successfully for several years in the world of tennis, players could discuss their doubts with the heads of this project.
The tone of the meeting was very relaxed, the team of Monte-Carlo International Sports answered with great transparency the questions that the players asked and they offered in writing the conditions of a contract by which the professionals would commit to participate in the 100% of the appointments established in the Calendar but in which they would be free to participate in other competitions provided they do not coincide with any tournament of the new Circuit. As we already revealed, this commitment would have a validity of 7 + 5 years, with extensions of 5 seasons, all of them with the right of first refusal.
In these moments, the positions between the players are very divided ... And, although there are many who want to remain loyal to World Padel Tour for being the structure that has made them grow since 2013, the truth is that others begin to see with very good eyes the conditions raised by MCI Sports ... And that opens an 'unsuspected' panorama only a few months ago: Could the situation of having two parallel Professional Circuits happen?
