The fourth installment of the articles that the promising Sevillian player will share with the readers of Padel World Press arrives. About to face his debut in Madrid Challenger, the member of the HEAD Rebel Team He sums up how he went through the last two dates of the Paddle World Tour.

Padel World Press .- The current 44 number of the WPT Ranking told us about his experiences at the Lisboa Challenger and at the Barcelona Master, two tests in which he and Víctor Ruiz continued to consolidate their 'functioning' as a couple.

With a lot of desire to continue working and improving in his game, the Andalusian trusts to continue going to more in the next test of the Calendar: the Madrid Challenger.

"Hello again to all the readers of Padel World Press. In this chronicle I will give you a summary of our journey through the Lisboa Challenger and Barcelona Máster tournaments.

We started by remembering what happened in the second Challenger of the season, which on this occasion took us to Lisbon. Before I begin to talk about the sporting aspect, I would like to congratulate the organizers of the race for the great tournament they won and for the careful attention they offered to each player from the Pre-Previas.

We had to start the competition against a tough couple: Martín di Nenno-Lucas Campagnolo… They dominated us for a large part of the game, they got 6-4, 3-1 and 15-40 on the scoreboard but thanks to Victor's push we were able make us mentally strong and we turned the situation around to end up winning 4-6, 6-4 and 6-1.

The next day, in the round of 4, we ran into a couple who are very hot: Galán-Belluati ... And a situation very similar to the previous day, but in reverse. We started strong, we dominated 6-0 and 2-4 until, at that moment, they had the ability to turn the scoreboard around and ended up beating us 6-6, 3-6 and 4-XNUMX.

We left Lisbon with the feeling of having been able to do a lot more but with the certainty that the level is very high… The encounters fall from one side or the other due to small details, which surely mark the psychological part.

The next stop was the Barcelona Máster, one of the most important tournaments of the year for being of maximum score and a classic in the Professional Calendar.

Once again, we had a start in front of a very complicated duo: Marcello Jardim-Juan Lebrón.

The shock fell on his side 4-6, 7-5 and 6-4. Our deployed level was correct. We had our options to advance round but we did not succeed. Losing these games due to small details is causing mental damage, although, in our case, we are transforming them into learning ... Let's hope that this situation will change in not long and we can take it to our advantage.

Greetings to all and thanks!!

Gonzalo Rubio. "
