The Spanish Federation of Paddle they have confirmed that the deadline to formalize the pre-registration is now open for the Spanish Championship for Veterans Team 3ª Category.
Padel World Press .- As it has been possible to know, the Previous Phases will be played in different clubs spread throughout the Spanish geography of the 16 to the 22 in October. In order to compete, interested groups must register before the 14: 00 hours of the 21 in September.
Among the requirements to participate, and in the case of the Men's Draw, it will be necessary for each squad to have five pairs, which can be composed with a maximum of 20 registered.
All players must have 40 years or more and, of their combination, the following pairs must be formed:
- Couple 1: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 85 years.
- Couple 2: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 90 years.
- Couple 3: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 95 years.
- Couple 4: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 100 years.
- Couple 5: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 105 years.
The match will be played competing with each other the pairs of the same category.
In the Women's Draw, all players must have at least 35 years or more, with five pairs and a maximum of 20 registered.
The composition of the pairs will be the following:
- Couple 1: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 75 years.
- Couple 2: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 80 years.
- Couple 3: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 85 years.
- Couple 4: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 90 years.
- Couple 5: Sum of ages equal to or greater than 95 years.
The match will be played competing with each other the pairs of the same category.
To establish these sums, the age of the player at the moment of the closing of the registration will not be taken into account, but the age that will be fulfilled in the year of the competition. That will be the one that will assign your category according to Art. 11.1.
The teams that manage to qualify will compete in the final of the Spanish Championship of Veterans of 3ª Category. This competition will be held at the facilities of the Biscayan club Jolaseta from 13 to 19 in November.
It should be remembered that the two finalist teams, both Masculine and Feminine, will achieve promotion to 2ª Category. The rest, must dispute the previous phases in the edition of 2018.
