Their players were present in the recently disputed edition of the European Championship by National Teams. Our good friend Christoph Karmann, one of the most authoritative voices of the German padel, offers us the summary on the experiences of his national team in a meeting that took place in The Hague (Holland).

Padel World Press .- The IX European Paddle Championship was played from the 02 to the 06 of December at the Club The Beach in Rijswijk, Den Haag. Germany participated with both a Men's Team and a Women's Team. Our players arrived on Monday 30 from November to Den Haag, as there was the possibility of training during the two days before the start of the race.

First of all, we would like to thank the organization Nederlandse Padelbond, International Padel Federation and, above all, the host: the members of the Club La Playa team. We want to emphasize that during the whole week we live in these facilities we always feel very well treated and, above all, welcome. Many thanks to Marcel Boogart and all his guys !!

Regarding sports, we must thank our coach Germán Schäfer for the excellent work he is doing with the two teams. I think you should know that this work started a few months before the European Championship, with the training and the call for the players who finally traveled to Holland to represent our country in this event.

Within the tracks, the path of our representatives was decided at key moments that closed the door as far as the pass to the semifinal. The girls finished in seventh place, just like the boys. However, the most important thing for all of us was the experience gained in tournaments of this importance and we are sure that we will do better in the 2016 World Championship.

A special mention deserves Mirco Schweizer, who made it possible to track several live matches via Live Streaming, including the final. In the channel 'padel.TV' on YouTube you can see the videos of those matches, including the moment when the glass broke in the match between Germany and Portugal. Mirco also took care of save special moments with your camera.

We all know that without partners and collaborators it is not possible to carry out this type of events and, with this, the evolution of paddle at an international level. Therefore, the German team and the German Paddle Federation They greatly appreciate your collaboration to: Heinkel Group, DropShot, Yoorna, iPadel.de y Privatpraxis Sorichta.

All of us can confirm that it was an unforgettable experience, both at a sporting level and at a social level and, of course, we are very excited about the 2016 World Championship.

We say it in just three words, yes, understandable to all: WE LOVE PADEL !!

… Or as my friend Mauri Muñoz says: «This European Championship has been won by paddle tennis»
