The recently completed Pádel Pro Show left many details and data of great interest to the fans. In one of the presentations, Alberto Cuesta, Head of Studies at Madison, spoke about the development of paddle tennis in Spain and presented us with a series of very interesting conclusions.

Padel World Press .- During his speech, the representative of the prestigious company released data very relevant to the industry of this sport in our country, which allowed attendees to have a broader knowledge on the subject.

One of the highlights of Alberto Cuesta's talk was the estimation of paddle practitioners, which he divided into intensive and habitual (approximately 2.300.000) and a segment of occasional practitioners, who play once a year, and who it already amounts to some 945.000 practitioners.

Other of his conclusions made reference to the current profile of the padel practitioner: 62% men and 38% women. Despite the difference, it should be noted that the percentage of females begins to be increasing. On the other hand, the division into social classes was another of the points that were discussed. At this time, the High Social Class represents an 20% of the practitioners; Media-High an 60% and Media-Media an 15%.

In his opinion, Alberto Cuesta said that the main factor that can limit the practice of this sport in clubs is the increase in competition, especially because of the saturation already existing in some specific areas.

Madison's study delved much more into the matter and provided information on types of clubs, businesses (exclusive of paddle or shared), facilities and equipment, catalog of activities related to this discipline, percentage of occupation of the tracks, ...

This is the padel ... A sport that does not stop growing.
