And what happened in the female categories

While the Benjamins have not yet debuted, the 45 couples that make up the female Alevín did, where two full phases were held. In the first, there was much equality in several of the matches, which were decided in the tie break. It was the case of Bonaque-Gutiérrez vs García de la Torre-Meléndez Amaya (6-2, 5-7 and 10-7) or Dols-Toledo vs Albisu-Ugarte Loperena (6-2, 4-6 and 10- 8). The fifteen favorites in Infantil went on to the round of eighths. The only couple that did not start as a seed and still survives in the picture is formed by the Andalusians Begoña Benjumeda and Marta Díaz Román. Something similar happened in Cadete, where only two of the first fifteen seeds were removed from the painting. They were Sabino Martínez-Caballero Sancho (6) and Bueno Sánchez-Domínguez Ferrán.

As a final point, in the Junior Women's Table, the 36 registered couples debuted. The most unexpected results were the premature eliminations of Rodríguez-Murcia (12), the sisters Cobo Gómez (15) or Sánchez-Gallifa (16).
