Would you like to feel part of the WPT Project? Would you like your name to be linked forever to the Professional Circuit of your favorite sport? That is what they propose from World Paddle Tour, whose top managers have decided to call a contest to choose which will be the first mascot in its history.

Padel World Press .- Convened by Setpoint Events, SA (owner of the World Pádel Tour brand), this contest has the purpose of involving the different groups of followers of our event for the creation and design of a mascot that reflects the spirit of this and serves for its promotion.

CONTEST

1.- The proposal must be sent by email to: [email protected] or by postal mail to: Setpoint Events, SA C / Río Bullaque, 2 - 28034 Madrid

2.- The term for the presentation of the works, will extend from the 22 day of October, which will be published the present bases in  www.worldpadeltour.com/concurso, until Monday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. After this date, Setpoint Events, SA will not collect the submitted works for any reason.

PARTICIPANTS

3.- This call is aimed at all the general public, whether or not they are paddle fans, older than 18.

4.- Each participant may submit a single work and no name may appear on it. Along with this, the author's data must be submitted (name, full address, telephone number and email address).

5.- Participation will be made individually and collective works will not be accepted.

6.- The papers presented by the participants must be free of rights that may hold third parties, exempting Setpoint Events, SA from all liability in the event of litigation or discussion arising from the breach of this condition.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

7.- The motive will be a single mascot related to the world of Paddle.

8.- The technique will be free on digital support.

9.- The works must be presented in digital JPG, PDF or Illustrator format. They must have a minimum size of 210 x 297 mm (A4) and a maximum of 297 x 420 mm (A3).

10.- Setpoint Events, SA is not responsible for the state of the software license used to create the work.

11.- Participants declare under their express responsibility that the submitted work is original and unpublished, that it has not been used, commercialized or previously awarded. Setpoint Events, SA will recognize the authorship of the works.

12.- It will be necessary to take into account that the submitted works must be easily adaptable to different advertising applications, formats and supports, that is, they will complement the logo, the identity of the tournament and promote all the activities and initiatives that they are considered opportune. Therefore, it is essential that the winning design admits its adaptation in any broadcast medium (letters, posters, email, web page, ...).

13.- The submitted works will not be able to represent any type of implicit or explicit image of violence or similar, that could hurt the sensibility of the people. That they carry or include some icon or religious image. No messages, obscene, discriminatory or offensive gestures may be used.

14.- Ownership and all rights deriving from the image of the mascot will become the exclusive property of Setpoint Events, SA The winner gives all the property rights over the winning mascot, having as a consequence Setpoint Events, SA all exploitation rights over the pet, rights that include, but are not limited to, the rights of fixation, reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation, indefinitely for the entire national and international territory and for any medium and support. All without any financial consideration other than the prize awarded in this contest. The winner excludes Setpoint Events, SA from any liability for any claim it receives, regardless of the type of pet presented to the contest.

JURY

15.- For the evaluation of the received works, a Jury will be constituted, which will be composed of the following members:

- Fede Segarra: Director of Communication and External Relations of Estrella Damm.
- Emilio Gonzalo: President of the Spanish Association of Friends of Comics.
- Víctor Martínez: Marketing Manager of Setpoint Events, SA

16.- The jury's decision, which will be unappealable, will be made public on 15 December day of 2014 on the World Pádel Tour website and event communication channels. On this date, the author of the work will be informed through the contact information provided and will be provided with the necessary requirements to access the venue for the awarding of the Estrella Damm Máss Finals 2014. The jury, in the event of not receiving any proposal that meets the requirements of the contest set out in points 7 to 14, or that the quality of the proposals received does not exceed the expectations of the organization, the prize may be declared void.

PRIZE

17.- The prize will consist of: 2 custom paddles of World Pádel Tour and 2 VIP box entries for the Masters Finals of Madrid of the 2014 year.

The organization will contact the winner for the delivery of the tickets, which will be done before the beginning of the Masters. The blades will be delivered on December 21 2014 by the number one padel world, Juan Martín Díaz and Fernando Belasteguín, before the final Estrella Damm Masters Finals 2014.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE BASES

18.- The participation of the authors referred to in point 3 of these bases implies their acceptance and the decision of the jury.
