In the Queen Category, Tony Cardona and Antonio Fernández made it to the decisive match, in which they had to use themselves thoroughly to overcome Eduardo and Javier Romero in a close match that ended with a score of 6-3, 5-7 and 1-4. The crash had to be interrupted due to Eduardo Romero's back injury.
Very happy for this first triumph of the season, Tony himself admitted: "It was a very good match."
To get to the grand final, in the semifinal round they beat 2 sets to 0 to Nacho Regalía-A. Hernandez while Eduardo and Javier needed three rounds to defeat Jesús Gil-Antonio Lozano.
It should be remembered that, in 2016, Tony Cardona will play alongside Javier Rico, Spain's Junior 2015 Champion. Their first tournament together will take place in Xeresa, Gandía, from 29 to 31 in January.
