They arrived at Cascais with the role of great favorites and managed to achieve their goal. The pupils of Icíar Montes showed why they occupy the first places of the WPT Ranking and, in a vibrant final, they surpassed the international albicelestes by 3-0.

Padel World Press .- Once again, the two great powers of world padel crossed their paths again in the outcome of a World Championship ... Once again, the tension and equality were maximum but, for the second consecutive time, the balance ended up declining towards the side of Spain.

With a block full of talent, quality and in which team spirit prevailed from the first to the last minute, the members of the national team added the fifth title in the history of Spanish women's paddle and reduced their disadvantage with Argentina (8 ).

Very intense from beginning to end, yielding only 10 games before facing this grand final, Spain knew that the match against the combined albiceleste would be different, special and that would be full of emotion.

That was very clear in the first game, in which Alejandra Salazar-Marta Marrero had to be used thoroughly before Paula Eyheraguibel-Aránzazu Osoro, who gave a lot of war, especially in the first set (7-5 and 6-2).

Right after, Patty Llaguno-Eli Amatriain knew how to keep calm in the most delicate moments and managed to contain the attacks of some combative Cecilia Reiter-Silvana Campus (7-6 and 6-2).

Finally, Mapi and Majo Sánchez Alayeto certified the 3-0 with a victory for 6-3 and 6-3 before Cata Tenorio-Nela Brito.

Fused in a hug, keeping the coach Icíar Montes on the court, this extraordinary group of players and friends celebrated in style a triumph that will make them the 'queens of paddle tennis' for the next two years.
