To begin with, it should be noted that Richard Brooks-Miguel González did not have great difficulties to beat Gustavo García-Enrique Martos 6-2 and 6-0. For their part, Iker del Valle-Daniel Bressel had to work hard to defeat Ignacio Asenjo-Julio Pérez 7-5 and 7-5.
Fabri Cattaneo-Manuel Prado dominated from start to finish and ended up eliminating Sebastiao Mendonça-Bernardo Bastos (6-4 and 6-2) while Kike Lagarejos-Sergio Alba left Cándido Jorge Alfaro-Javier Rodríguez (6- 0 and 7-6).
Víctor Sánchez-Jesús Espejo knew how to suffer to be imposed by 7-6 and 7-6 on Daniel Blanco-Francisco González while Lucas Campagnolo-Lucas Bergamini beat Daniel de Castro-Jesús García on 6-1, 3-6 and 6-4 .
