Brilliant point and final to a competition that, once again, returned to bring a few vibrant duels, much emotion and a show worthy of the Professional Circuit. After a few exciting days, after a few crossings full of moments to remember, the great endings did not disappoint anyone ... In them, the OBC boys beat the members of the Vibor-A Team while the girls of the Chamartín Club returned to impose their law and beat the representatives of the Varlion Club.

The revolution of the 'modest'

It may be that at the beginning of the competition neither of these two squads started with the favorite band but, with an image of great solidity and thanks to the enormous quality of their players, they managed to overcome all the obstacles and were planted in the final with the firm purpose of bringing the title to your showcases. Both Club OBC and Team Vibor-A offered an epic outcome, which was decided in the tie break of the last match and which tipped the balance towards the former.

With a luxury block, composed of five highly leveled pairs (Concepción-Lagarejos, Moraleda-Sarralde, Botello-Cases, Alonso Martínez-Redondo and Heredia-Ochoa), the members of OBC made their dream come true after beating some opponents who faced this important commitment with an alignment formed by Blanco-Grabiel, Derito-Izquierdo, Gadea-Pérez Millán, Gutiérrez-Sarrabayrouse and Beloqui-Vaquero.

With 2-2 on the scoreboard and everything to be decided, a large number of spectators concentrated on the track where Nacho Gadea-Cutu Pérez Millán faced Uri Botello and Hugo Cases. In the third set, after two breaks in service, a sudden fatal fate was reached in which, from the beginning, it was clear that it would be successful who knew better to control their nerves.

And those were Botello-Cases. They put with an income of 4-0, they saw with 6-2 and, with serve in their favor, a good service and two successful volleys that unleashed madness and joy among all its components, who embraced in the center of the track.

There is no one who can with the 'Chamar'

And it is that very few teams could boast of having such a high level to be able to leave as 'substitutes' players of the stature and prestige of Icíar Montes and Alejandra Salazar. One more season, this great team showed its talent and the competitiveness of all its components, step by step, reach the final and overcome their rivals thanks to impressive couples formed by Grandes-Hermida, Galán-López Bosch, Ortega- Virseda, Castrillo-Prado and Ruano-Tenorio.

Despite the final 5-0, the matches were very even and all the contestants gave themselves to the maximum from the first to the last point.

With his usual war cry: "That Chamar, that Chamar, eh, eh", and with the joy reflected in their faces, the members of this great group conspired to return to give the best of themselves in their next appointment ... The 1ª Category Spanish Team Championship, which will take place between 14 and 16 days in March at the Arena Entrena Pádel (Beriain).
