The first four seeds are cited in the women's semi-finals of the A Coruña Open

The quarterfinal day of the fifteenth tournament of the season was marked by the dispute of duels full of spectacle, equality and vibrant actions. The main candidates to fight for the title surpassed their respective commitments and are already preparing for a semifinals that promise to be exciting.

To start, Patty Llaguno-Eli Amatriain faced Alba Galán-Mari Carmen Villalba again, just as it had already happened in the La Nucía Open or the Seville Open. With a firm step, the current number 3 in the Ranking knew how to keep their cool in a very even first set and imposed their rhythm in the second. The final score was 7-6 and 6-0.

At the same time, Carolina Navarro-Cecilia Reiter had to work hard to overcome a tough battle against Cata Tenorio-Victoria Iglesias. The players of the StarVie Team they won the triumph in three sets (6-4, 1-6 and 6-3).

For their part, Alejandra Salazar-Marta Marrero again left on the way to Marta Ortega-Ari Sánchez, young players who returned to show a great image despite their defeat by 6-4 and 6-1.

Finally, Mapi and Majo Sánchez Alayeto managed to defeat Lucia Sainz-Gemma Triay (6-4 and 6-2) with great solvency. The pupils of Jorge Martinez already know that they will meet with Patty Llaguno-Eli Amatriain on his way to reach the grand final.
