Padel World Press .- The Mapei Cup, which the young entrepreneur with a lot of heart has been doing for three years Diego Bossa, let us know more closely the situation of the paddle in this talent 'factory' called Argentina.

Those who follow the AJPP Circuit closely tell us that this event, together with the Fabrice Pastor Cup, is an island on the calendar… For me it is still a demonstration that if you want to, you can. We understand the economic difficulties that the country has, how complicated it can be to get the sponsorship of large companies, but putting EARN on it, everything is achieved ... Or am I wrong, Mr. Bossa?

The paddle has resurfaced in Argentina but there is a lack of work. The big stars have been based in Spain for many years and the promising young people quickly start the European adventure before the impossibility of seeing a promising future in their land, read Wall, Chingotto, Tello, Stupaczuk, among many others.

This appointment in San Francisco has allowed us to meet with old acquaintances, with former paddle stars who are still active as Gata Briner, Maru Lasaigues, Ramiro Nanni or Damián Sánchez, these last promoters of the AJPP Circuit.

He also left us great moments with colleagues linked to this sport for many years as the great Bocha Ernesto Gallardo, Guillermo Russel, Ariel Blanco or the excellent international referee Eduardo Willer.

The more than 18 hours that we share daily give much ... To analyze and exchange views on the reality of the paddle and, in that search for solutions, we came to the conclusion that the 'circus' is armed but there is no one to lead it.
The most important thing, the raw material (players) is happily what is left over, so it will be a matter of working to offer them a good showcase where to expose themselves before they leave immature to the Old Continent.

And maybe this is the time for all the actors - players, businessmen, organizers, journalists - to sit around a table and come up with ideas so that the 90 years do not happen and this sport disappears again.

And it is at this point where they will allow me to give a 'stick' to the businessmen who are betting on the paddle. It is very nice to bring the 'magicians' of this sport once a year and set them the best scenario ... But the work would be complete if a minimum part of that investment were destined to enhance the National Circuit, with better scenarios, with Live Streaming, with greater diffusion in the media and even in the official website of the circuit, where the information is very outdated.

Nor can it be understood that they continue to play on the same carpet from the year 92 ... And it is that twenty-six years wear anyone out !! It is something that does not favor the show, no matter how high the quality of the players.

There is much to be done but Mr. Bossa has shown that it can be done. Always come 'messiah' of paddle, but you have to show them with work that it is worth investing in this sport.

I am sure that this bet of the young Cordovan businessman will pay off. If the show is good the businessman supports it, he wants to be there. If we add a few chirimbolos to the tournament (LEDs, scoreboard, Streaming, presenter ...) it will result in greater sponsorship for next year.

This situation in Argentina can be transferred to any of the South American countries, although fortunately we have cases like Brazil and Chile where the players themselves have taken the reins to improve the show and have created their own circuit.

I hope everyone starts to throw for the same side, that is not the impulse of a few 'crazy' and that the South American paddle returns to the top. From our humble position we will always be there to help.

Thanks Diego for your trust and… PUNTAKO of the Amigos tournament !!!
