The amateur padel: Hobby or obsession?

Padel World Press .- In general, when we are fond of practicing a sport, we are not aware that the fact that we do not have some basic rules that help us play correctly can take its toll. In fact, this lack of precaution means that we have to retire earlier than expected, which causes some frustration and refusal to continue practicing, despite the enjoyment it provides.

Padel is a fast, very dynamic and entertaining game that requires, in practice, a certain assiduity. Avoiding possible injuries is essential to enjoy 100% of the game. For this we need a series of basic knowledge:

- Physical Conditioning: It requires a level of activity to be able to make races in short distances and maintain some resistance to hold all the sets of a match without vanishing in the attempt.

It is obvious that you do not have to have an 10 body but, at least, it is necessary to be able to move with it all along the track. If you are a very sedentary person and you would love to start playing this sport, it is best to go to professionals trained in didactics who can teach you, little by little, the basics of practicing it. Starting with friends can be very attractive, but in the vast majority of cases, the level they have is not the same as yours and that can frustrate you. However, try and, if you like it, go to someone trained who can teach you.

-Training: From night to morning you can not get to be the best. The paddle is a very demanding sport to be able to respond in just four days to our opponents. The hobby begins when you play once or twice a week with people of your same level. Step by step, and with the refinement of the technique, you will feel that you are capable of demanding more from your game and you will begin to practice it more frequently at the end of the week.

The most likely thing is that after a few months you feel so full, full of energy and hooked on your 'healthy drug', which will be to get home, take the shovel and run to the track. But what you must not forget is that it will be based on practicing and improving your technique when you will get more out of the game. It is useless to say that you already know how to play but not to maintain those capacities that you have acquired in your training ... You will be left behind and will cease to be a motivation for you. Constancy is very important to achieve your goal: burn the track.

-Vigily-Dream: The benefits when practicing sports in general are many. It helps activate the metabolism, regulate the energy that we develop in our body, while helping to release all the stress and negative charge we carry inside. There are people who say that it's great to practice sports at night but ... Beware! It may not go so well to our body because we have been awake for many hours and need to rest.

Let's combine the benefits that sports practice gives to the correct functioning of our body. We must give at least two hours of time to lower to normal levels our constants after the practice of paddle and be able to rest properly.

It is also very important to emphasize that a proper rest helps good sports performance. When we play with an almost daily attendance and we submit to the stress of going to tournaments, our body also takes its toll and can give us certain attention points not only due to the game but also because the organism itself is asking us to slow down.

Other useful tips are not to chain a tournament after a night out or get many hours of play after having days of intense work ... And, of course, much less when we are in viral states as much as we love the sport. Everything in its moment because the excesses were never good no matter how healthy they are.

- Body-Mind Combination: Free time is part of our health and everyone dedicates it to what they like. It occurs in thousands of cases that there are people who develop some pathology or condition due to the stress of daily life. They occupy their life with hours and hours of work, then having to devote themselves to their personal tasks that they forget that they have to have certain hours at the end of the day to do "whatever I want."

Some surf the net, others play sports and others watch television. Whatever it is, if we do not disconnect from our thousands of obligations as people that we are and roles that we perform, something may go wrong in the future.

The emotional benefit of a sport like paddle is that we put so much enthusiasm and activate most of our senses that we forget about the rest. Our goal is to play and not think about what I'm going to do after dinner when I get home or if I have a meeting tomorrow with my boss. Performing this sport requires being concentrated at 100%. It is not possible to be confused in other things because it can cost us the loss of the point, that we stumble or that we uncoordinated with our partner.

You will wonder what is the real benefit of the paddle. Well, your mind will disconnect and forget the thousands of things you have on your mental task list. You will be happy for a few hours as if you were walking through the Bahamas or relaxing in the sun. At the end of the training or tournament we will be physically tired but totally lucid.

- Food and Hydration: We all know that it is not advisable to make great efforts after copious meals. A few people will be left wanting after the typical Christmas meal to go to take even a pachanga. In addition, right after making the most important meal of the day we must give a time of rest.

But it is not simply to give this indication, but we must take the right food when we play we are going to play on the track, choose correctly the foods that can be beneficial to obtain a greater energy in the minimum possible time, that is easy to digest and does not require long metabolization processes in our digestive system.

It should be noted that many times you have a lot of food at the beginning of physical activity but then also take care of the later, since our metabolism will be accelerated. In addition to stretching, we should not eat large quantities of food, no matter how hungry we are, since it can lead to digestion cuts.

We have to take foods low in sodium, since it may not be an adequate metabolic rehydration for the recovery of the body. The liquid that we drink right after the game will be to quench our thirst and we will hardly perspire again. During the hour after the game it will be very important to drink adequate amounts of liquid to promote cellular rehydration.

Hobby or obsession?

The paddle hooks. As we said at the beginning, it is a fast, dynamic and entertaining sport but ... To what extent can we 'get involved'? We have to be careful when the practice is simple and we have good technique in an innate way. There are people who have the ability to speak languages ​​and others to practice sports, but to a certain extent we must not stop attending to our daily life and obligations.

Failure to attend an appointment or perform our daily tasks to participate in all the tournaments that are played can end up showing an obsessive tendency that is not easy to leave, or to recognize, that hurts us. It is not all win the ham or the shovel of the tournament or show the rest how good you are and what you involve in your hobby. That's why we have to take it as something that takes us out of our daily occupation and helps us to rediscover ourselves.
