How do you relate to yourself on the paddle tennis court?

Padel World Press .- Self-dialogue is a verbal communication that the paddle tennis player has with himself, this being the key to control thoughts and therefore emotions and behaviors.

Today we know how our brain works:

THOUGHTS -> EMOTIONS -> BEHAVIORS.

What I think generates in me a way of feeling and this would define my way of acting.

We can identify, at a very general level, two types of self-talk; POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE.

In positive self-talk, the player constantly handles constructive thoughts and messages. They would be messages such as "we are fine", "you can win perfectly", "we are going to come back", "how well my partner is today", etc. This will generate positive emotions that will lead us to act coherently, calmly and confidently, something that is expressed in the body.

In negative self-talk, the player constantly handles destructive thoughts and messages, messages such as "I don't know how to play", "why am I playing this?" This will generate negative emotions that leads us to act unstable, without confidence, and this is also expressed by the body.

Science has already shown that positive self-talk helps improve performance as well as reduce the number of intrusive thoughts. And you ... WHAT SELF-DIALOGUE DO YOU DRIVE? .
