Padel World Press - The world of paddle tennis cries for its rights and for the responsibility that it maintains in its idiosyncrasy as a game and more and more movements are demanding its return. The last one is led by the player World Padel Tour Carolina Navarro.
And it is that the player from Malaga has wanted to express a reflection on what paddle tennis is, what its industry is like, what is its conception as a game and, all, around the responsibility it maintains to guarantee basic safety and distance rules.
Because the paddle, except for a last minute turn, cannot be resumed until Phase 3. It is in the Faces 1 and 2 when it can start its reopening in modality 1 versus 1, but it seems insufficient for businessmen, paddle tennis facilities and industry in general who are clamoring for a review of these measures.

And it has been the legend of the female paddle tennis, Carolina Navarro, the one has given voice to many of the actors in this sector. A movement that has fueled many players, fans and followers through social networks that endorse the words of the person from Malaga.
We leave you with the full letter of Carolina Navarro.
"Today, all of us who love paddle tennis are united in the face of the injustice with which our sport is being treated, practiced by more than 4 million players. The problem, which many of you are unaware of, is that Health considers padel to be a MEDIUM risk sport (just like soccer). This implies that until Phase 3, we cannot enter 4 players per track.
I don't need to tell you all the implications that this has for the survival of our sport at all levels: professional players, amateur players, clubs, federations, brands, companies and the number of families that make a living from it.
What risk do we run by taking the appropriate measures? I assure you that much less than sitting on a terrace of the same measurements with many more people or going to run in the street keeping distances that are often impossible with the amount of people that crowd.
It is worth remembering that on the paddle:
There are ONLY 4 people in 200m2, separated by a network.
There is NO physical contact.
The Government in its de-escalation plan proposes that paddle tennis, until Phase 3, cannot be played in pairs.
What the paddle tennis community asks is that in Phase 2, it can already be played in pairs taking into account that it is a LOW risk sport.
Hopefully this letter reaches anyone who has the ability to put a solution. #ENELPADELSIHAYDISTANCIA »
